  • Pisces is compassionate and caring but can be taken for granted

This astrological “event” while having a slight effect on everyone, will have a stronger and longer lasting effect on those who have the following in their charts: 

  • Venus in Libra
  • Venus in Taurus
  • Sun in Libra
  • Sun in Taurus
  • Venus in the 7th house
  • Venus in the 2nd house
  • Ascendant in Venus
  • Mid-heaven in Venus
  • Any aspects to Venus

What does it all mean? 

  • Venus is the planet of beauty and money, she is likely the most feminine of the planets. Venus is the ruler of Libra (relationships) and Taurus (material security).
  • Retrograde… as we look at the planet Venus from earth, she “appears” to be going backwards. Time to redo, resort, re-energize… 
  • We may take our loved ones and close friends for granted… :(  
  • Some of us may become invisible to those around us… if that happens, don’t be shy about letting folk know you are still around
  • This could be a good time to do a reshuffle regarding our relationships, including our friends, co-workers and business partners. 
  • It’s easy to become disconnected with others during this time as our focus may be drawn inwards. Spending time with folk who can help us come out of our “shell” is a good idea and should be practiced whenever possible. 
  • How we look on the outside may represent how we are feeling on the inside, if positive feelings are needed to get through the day, feeling good about how we look is the first step. 
  • Be aware of the budget, try not to go over it.. if time permits this may be a good time to go over the weekly/monthly budget. 

As Venus becomes direct again:

  • Hopefully we have a better understanding of our selves and who we want to call friends. 
  • It’s time to get serious about who we spend our time, this includes all relationships dealt with on a daily basis.
  • If a new look is whats needed to get things going again, go for it.. it should be easier to know what we want regarding our appearance. 
  • Our finances may need seeing to, however, if we have been vigilant over the last few months all should be well in this area. 
  • If we have been stagnating where making a major purchase is concerned, the right item @ the right price may be just around the corner. 
  • A good time to spruce up our environment… new paint, new pictures, new drapes etc… 
  • A strong desire to shop, shop and shop again.. may come over some of us… :)

What does it all mean?

  • Mercury is all about the mind… how we think…  he is the messenger, he relates to how we communicate… He rules over transportation, technology and innovation… He is the ruler of the signs Gemini and Virgo and is associated with the 3rd and 6th houses.
  • Mental stimulation is welcomed, and required by some during this time..
  • Restlessness and boredom are forever just around the corner… 
  • Keeping ourselves busy with multiple projects can keep the boredom at bay… 
  • Take care not to take on too much during this time, it’s easier to do then we may think. 
  • Chit chatting, is the name of the game, gathering bits of information along the way… 
  • Sticking to one thing at a time, or being totally focused on one thing at a time could be more challenging now. 
  • Even though we are “craving information” and may feel restless, some of us may be more comfortable dealing with surface matters, then ones that go too “deep” ;)
  • Messages, meetings, emailing, texting and day to day chores could get busy now.

  • Moon Phase: 1st
  • Void-of-Course: April 27 @ 1:00 pm (ET) 10:00 am (PT) to moon into Cancer about 1/2 an later. VOC Moon in Gemini is NOT one of the “good” VOC signs.
  • Opportunity Period: April 26 @ 6:32 pm (ET) @ 3:31 pm (PT) to VOC Moon on the 27th. A “foggy” start to this opportunity period, which should present clearer thinking as the day moves on.

Pluto goes retrograde on Saturday April 25th @ 2:54 pm (ET) @ 11:54 am (PT). He remains in Retrograde motion until the beginning of October.

Changes in an area of life that is active in your chart are likely… However, some of these changes won’t happen all at once. Memories are shared and possible solutions to old problems can be found. However, wait until after the Mercury Retrograde before putting any new ideas or plans into motion. 
  • We may find we are trying to do multiple things at once, which may not go exactly as we may have planned. If you do find you have tons of ideas spinning around in your head, take pen to paper and jot them down… it will ease the “inside chatter” and you may find some of them useful later on. 
  • Could be lots of chit chatting going on, and some of us may have to make a concerted effort to listen instead of chat.
  • Caution is advised when doing up letters, emails and relaying messages, as much as we may think we have it right, it’s better to check one more time
  • A new study could be on the cards for some of us.. and it will likely be approached with enthusiasm. 
  • If it’s possible to go on vacation now, grab the chance, you might learn more than you could have ever imagined… :) 
  • It’s a good time to get those lists and notes made up… we can feel good about putting pen to paper now.
  • Boredom may be at our door step and we may feel more restless than usual.
