  • Date: September 13 2017 12:13 pm (ET) 6:12 pm (PT) 3:12 pm
  • Moon Sign: Cancer
  • Moon Phase: 4th
  • Void-of-Course: September 15 5:23 pm (ET) 2:23 pm (PT) to Moon in Leo, a couple of hours later: Cancer can be a productive v/c moon…
  • House(s): 9th house of travel, new experiences, study and legal activities. (Equal House)
  • Opportunity Period: None

What does it all mean?

  • The moon is happy in the sign of Cancer because she rules here. Being sympathetic towards the worries of others is easier, we are more empathetic now.
  • We can be more nurturing when there is a cancer moon
  • Domestic chores and responsibilities may be easier to do now, in fact some of us may be very happy making our home comfortable and safe
  • Cooking may be fun to do now,  so go ahead and try out that new recipe
  • The more emotionally sensitive of us, may take offense or feel slighted or more vulnerable during the Cancer moon… Caution is advised though, check your facts before you “accuse”.
  • Some of us may feel needy, while others of us are happy to be the cuddler, helping our loved ones feel secure and in deed needed. Caution is advised that some of us can go over board on the needy thing during this moon period, so be careful if you don’t want to “scare” someone off…
  • It’s a time for cuddles, caring, good food and just plain old lovings… 🙂 Enjoy..
  • This may be a good time to learn new things, especially those that relate to the domestic front or family. Take up a cooking class, or try new recipes, decorate the home or enjoy craft projects with the kids. This may also be a good time to do some tidy up and mini reno’s on the house.
  • In the 9th house: Personal freedom is a must for the next few days, so get out or stay in… but whatever you do, have some you time doing just what it is that makes you feel good. The future looks brighter and we are capable of seeing life in a more positive frame of mind. Our belief system may get some attention under this influence, however, it’s best not to get too radical about them when engaging in heated debates… Keep in mind that everyone is entitled to their own opinions… Could be a good time for a weekend getaway for some, healing retreats, spiritual quests, meditation are all good to experience now.
  • This may be a positive time for: Beauty treatments, Brewing beer, Buying antiques, Buying for speculation, Can foods, Collect on debts, Hair cut (for growth) and plant bulbs from seeds.
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts.
  • Moon in Cancer: (these folk really feel the influence of the moon, emotions may be close to the surface)
  • Ascendant in Cancer:
  • Sun in Cancer:
  • Moon in Sagittarius
  • Sun in Sagittarius
  • Moon in the 4th, 9th house: (equal)
  • Aspects to the Moon, or planets in the 4th, 9th house’s
  • To a lessor extent, those who have personal planets in Capricorn or Sagittarius

Uranus in Aries, Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn are all in retrograde motion now. When planets are in retrograde motion, and especially when more than one planet is retrograde at a given time, we can expect delays, misunderstandings, re-doing, re-assessing, re-modelling… Issues from the past may resurface, and situations may repeat themselves. Life is unlikely to be moving full steam ahead… patience is advised, along with checking and double checking our work and communication skills… If you don’t understand something, ask… even if you feel “silly” doing so, it’s better to ask now and find out what you need to know, instead of waiting for some time in the future to find out you may have made the wrong decision based on the “wrong” information.

Zodiac sign Gemini on a background of the starry sky with the scheme of stars in the constellation, vector illustration Stock Vector - 37150664
http://www.123rf.com: Copyright : Nataliia Vzhyshnevska
  • Date: September 11 3:29 pm (ET) 12:29 pm (PT) 2017
  • Moon Sign: Gemini:
  • Moon Phase: 3rd
  • Void-of-Course: September 13 2:35 pm (ET) 11:35 am (PT) to moon in Cancer in the early evening
  • House(s) 8th house of extreme circumstances, death and regeneration
  • Opportunity Period: Wednesday September 13 4:25 am (ET) 1:25 am (PT) to void off course moon.

What does it all mean?

  • Gemini is an air sign and needs lots of stimuli. She is ruled by Mercury.
  • The house connected to Gemini is the 3rd house of: day-to-day travel/affairs and siblings… we could find ourselves busy with multiple things going on, even if they are just in our own minds… 😉 Dealings with family, especially siblings, are likely.
  • We may find we are trying to do multiple things at once, which may not go exactly as we may have planned. If you do find you have tons of ideas spinning around in your head, take pen to paper and jot them down… it will ease the “inside chatter” and you may find some of them useful later on.
  • Could be lots of chit chatting going on, and some of us may have to make a concerted effort to listen instead of chat.
  • Caution is advised when doing up letters, emails and relaying messages, as much as we may think we have it right, it’s better to check one more time
  • In the 8th house: A crisis of sorts may be just around the corner for some of us… other’s may find this is a good time to sort out the paper work that’s been shoved aside, especially those dealing with insurance policies, benefit plans and mortgages. If you are thinking of making investments right now, be sure to read all the fine print before signing. Try not to make everything about you during these next few days, it’s easy to be overly sensitive and to allow the other negative energies such as jealousy take you over… Take care about your emotional reactions during this time, action and words undertaken now may have far-reaching effects.
  • It’s a good time to get those lists and notes made up… we can feel good about putting pen to paper now.
  • Boredom may be at our door step and we may feel more restless than usual.
  • The next few days may be positive for: buying a vehicle, entertaining guests, hair cut (for less growth), join a club, send mail, and mow the lawn to retard growth.
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts.
        • Sun in Gemini
        • Moon in Gemini
        • Moon in the 3rd house (equal)
        • Moon in 8th house (equal)
        • Mercury in Gemini
        • Ascendant in Gemini
        • Midheaven in Gemini
        • Any aspects to the Sun, Moon, Mercury or Pluto
        • Those who have a strong Scorpio or Sagittarius influence in their chart

The Moon and Astrology; How it affects our daily life: Transiting moon into Pisces September 2017

 Present Moon Sign/Phase/House:

  • Date: September 5 2017 1:28 am (ET) September 4 10:28 pm (PT)
  • Moon Sign: Pisces
  • Moon Phase: 2nd
  • Void-of-Course: September 6  4:29 pm (ET) 1:29 pm (PT) to Moon into Aries on the 7th. Pisces is a fortunate sign for the Void of Course moon.
  • House(s): 5 th  house of creativity, fun, children and pets:
  • Opportunity Period:  July 14 1:01 pm (ET) 10:01 am (PT). until Moon into Aries… A good time to listen to your intuition.

What does it all mean?

  • Pisces is compassionate and caring but can be taken for granted
  • Sometimes Pisces isn’t about helping others but helping oneself.
  • We can be more psychic during a Pisces moon, but we can also be easily deceived, so be sure of the “messages” received during this time.
  • Be careful if something sounds too good to be true, look for the hidden agenda
  • We can be susceptible to taking in stray animals and stray people now.
  • Our hearts can be broken or melted during this time depending on who is telling us what and what may be revealed now.
  • We can feel more spiritual with a Pisces moon, indicating this could be a good time to join a church or spiritual group
  • Keep an open mind when delving into new spiritual situations, ask questions and don’t believe everything you hear or see.
  • We can be wistful, impressionable, nostalgic and dreamy now.
  • In the 5th house: We may find we are spending more time with kids and pets… It’ s a time to have some fun, be entertained, or be entertaining… This could be a challenging time for those who enjoy sticking to a routine, and for those who love to have fun, having too much fun isn’t any better than always being organised. A healthy balance between work (duty) and play is strongly encouraged.
  • This may be a good time to: Borrow money and Brew beer… 🙂 Try not to drink all the profits away… 😉
  • The moon in Pisces will have more effect on those who have the following in their charts:
  • Moon in Pisces:
  • Sun in Pisces:
  • Moon in the 5th house
  • Aspects to the Moon or Neptune
  • Neptune in Pisces
  • Ascendant or Mid-Heaven in Pisces
  • Those with a strong Virgo  placement in their charts
  • Note**Mercury turns direct on the on the 5th, but wait until the 10th to move ahead with anything.  Neptune in Pisces (Neptune is the ruler of Pisces) and Pluto in Capricorn are in retrograde motion.

The Full Moon, falls on September in the 6th in the sign of Pisces. All of the above influences will be increased under the full moon. Pisces is ruled by Neptune… For some folks “escaping” from reality will be easy to do .. be careful when making decisions or commitments, as it is easy for some folks to be convinced to do something they wouldn’t normally do. Lies and deceit all possible under this influence… It is easier to be compassionate towards others… taking in stray animals and people is likely for some… 🙂

Astrology: How it affects our daily life: Saturn goes Retrograde April 2017: Saturn turns direct August 2017

08/25/2017: Update on this astrological event… Saturn turns DIRECT on August 25 8:08 am (ET) 5:08 am (PT)… things will still be a bit sluggish until the end of the month, and Sagittarius influenced folks may still feel frustrated… Saturn remains in Sagittarius until December…

Astrological Event: Saturn Turns Retrograde

Date(s): April 5 (PT) April 6 (ET) 2017 to August 2017

Sign: Sagittarius

What does it all mean?

  • Saturn is the planet of restrictions, duty and authority.. He rules Capricorn, is connected to the 10th house:
  • Sagittarius is all about freedom, living, learning and loving, A fire sign ruled by the expansive planet Jupiter.
  • This can be a good time to reassess our beliefs, ethics and the rules we live by.
  • We can make changes to some of the decisions or choices we have made in key area’s of our life. Venus remains retrograde until approx April the 14th… as Saturn turns retrograde in Sagittarius, it is possible for some folks to release themselves from restrictive long-term relationships.
  • Partnerships that are not “cutting it” may be reassessed under this influence, especially ones which don’t seem to gel with our ethics, religion or belief system. We feel stronger and more purposed in these area’s, which helps us to be brave enough to make difficult choices.
  • It is a time to be truthful to ourselves, to have a good look at what it is we are willing to stand for… what does it mean when we sign our name to a petition making the social media rounds? do we truly feel strong enough to want the changes, and what, ultimately, will those changes mean and who will they affect the most?
  • This is a time for reflection, more than for making huge life changes or new commitments… having said that leaving or dissolving a long-term relationship or partnership is pretty life changing… and with Venus and Saturn being retrograde the push to make such changes is strong. While there is no complete answer, it is suggested that if a relationship or partnership isn’t making you happy, now is an excellent time to figure out why… Honesty is the best policy here, so don’t go blaming the other partner for everything that is wrong with the relationship… (it takes two to tango) 🙂
  • Folks who are well-behaved citizens, who follow the rules and have a strong positive “connection” with those in authority, could feel a little “off-kilter” under this influence, but it’s not all bad… just look at this an opportunity to “loosen” up a bit… you are unlikely to go off the rails, and it could be a good opportunity for you to learn something new.
  • Studying and learning new skills could be more challenging than usual, however the desire will be strong… just keep going with the flow and it will all come together in the end..

While we will all be affected slightly by this event…

Those with the following in their charts will feel the effects stronger.

  • Sun in Sagittarius
  • Moon in Sagittarius
  • Ascendant in Sagittarius
  • Saturn in Sagittarius
  • Sun in Capricorn
  • Moon in Capricorn
  • Ascendant in Capricorn
  • Saturn in Capricorn
  • Saturn or Jupiter in the 3rd house
  • To a lessor effect: Sun in Gemini: Moon in Gemini: Sun in Cancer: Moon in Cancer: Ascendant in Cancer

The Moon and Astrology: How it affects our daily life… Transiting Moon in Libra August 2017

 Present Moon Sign/Phase/House:

http://www.123rf.com: Copyright : jtxie
  • Date: August 23 2017 9:05 pm (ET) 6:05 pm (PT)
  • Moon Sign: Libra
  • Moon Phase: 1st (good time for starting projects)
  • Void-of-Course: August 26 @ 1:38 am (ET) 10:39 pm August 25 (PT) to Moon in Scorpio a few hours later: Moon v/c in Libra is not one of the 4 void of course “good signs” .
  • House: 12th: House of dreams/fantasies, psychic abilities, the unknown, unseen…
  • Opportunity Period: None

What does it all mean?

  • Libra has a need for balance, indicating this moon period may be an ideal time to implement some into our daily lives.
  • A desire for justice may be present, dealing with issues that have upset our sense of justice may prove to be productive.
  • Money issues may be on the agenda, and we may have to either adjust our budget or monitor our spending over the next few days.
  • Diplomacy is likely to be more apparent during the next few days, and may be a good time to bring up that topic you have been putting on the back burner.
  • Hesitation is probably going to raise its head, we may see many sides of a story and find it difficult to make up our minds.
  • Difficulty in making commitments or long-term decisions, because we can’t make up our minds. If this is the case perhaps wait a few days until the move has moved out of Libra.
  • Libra is happiest when in a relationship or partnership. Indicating this may be a good time to begin one. 🙂
  • Co-operation should be in the air, making this an ideal time to make plans with others.
  • May be a good time to improve our appearance and surroundings.
  • May be great time to go bargain hunting,
  • In the 12th house. Those of us who “enjoy our own company” may feel the pull towards being alone… watch for the tendency to become withdrawn or secluded from others because of negative feelings such as depression or unworthiness..Psychic abilities may be jumping to be let free… so let them out to play, take care you don’t get silly with it though… ;)… Being creative can bring us joy now.
  • These next few days may be positive for the following… Getting a hair cut, beauty treatments, buying clothes and buying for speculation.
  • This moon sign will affect us all but will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts.
      • **Moon in Libra,
      • **Sun in Libra,
      • **Venus in Libra
      • **Venus in Aries
      •  **Moon in 12th house
      • **Moon in 7th house,
      • **Any aspects to the Moon or Venus
      • **Midheaven in Libra
      • **Ascendant in Libra
      • **Aspects to the Moon or Venus, the 7th, 12th or 4th house.
      • **Folks with strong Aries in their charts.

Mercury in Aries, Saturn in Sagittarius, Uranus in Aries, Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn are all in retrograde motion now.
