    • Date: November 8 2019 @ 6::49 am (ET) 3:49 am (PT)
    • Moon Sign: Aries
    • Moon Phase:  2nd
    • Void-off-Course: November 10 @ 9:00 am (ET) 6:00 am (PT) to Moon into Taurus later that evening. Moon v/c in Aries is not one of the 4 “good signs” Make sure you get all the facts before making any commitments..
    • House(s): 6 th house
    • Opportunity Period: None

What does it all mean?

  • Aries is action, he is the most masculine of the Zodiac signs as he is ruled by the planet Mars
  • We should have slightly more get up and go when the moon is in Aries
  • We are happy to defend our loved ones
  • We are apt to speak up more, even those of us who consider themselves to be “timid” can find the voice they need right now.
  • May be a good time to get your message across or to ask for what you need
  • Be careful when driving especially when upset or angry
  • We may be more susceptible to head injuries or head aches
  • We could be eager to start projects now, however, we are sitting in the 2nd moon phase, which is more suited to continuing with projects all ready on the go… Mercury is also currently retrograde, indicating that projects begun now may have to be re-done once Mercruy goes direct… Just keep these points in mind, if you do get excited about starting anything new… that way dissapointment can be avoided, and a closer focus may be applied to any project at hand.
  • Be careful while engaging in physical activities, we may feel stronger or more “heroic” at the moment but our bodies might not be in the same “zone” 🙂
  • We may be more decisive than usual, as always use caution …
  • Be careful about saying yes to everything right now, we might feel like we can handle more, but when the time comes we could be sorry we took on so much at once.
  • Being healthy and feeling good so we can help others, or at the very least get our chores done may be on the agenda for the next few days.
  • Adults with a strong mars or Aries influence may be acting more like children than adults.
  • Some of us could be more insensitive or appear more selfish to others.
  • If you aren’t looking to enlarge your family right now, take care, Aries has a lot of sexual energy to utilize… 😉
  • In the 6th house of health, diet, hygene, work and service… Some of us may use this time to take up a new diet or exercise program… while others, may find themselves focused on the job at hand, work or being of service to others… This is the house of Virgo, which is an earth sign, she is patient and critical… Aries, (the current moon sign) is impatient and rearing to… For some of us it may be a get up and go few days, as for others we may be conflicted as to what we should be doing with our time and for whom.
  • check your tempers fire people… know it’s only the “moon talking” sensitive water people… try not to “fan the flames” air people… Earth people, be open to compromise and flexibility. 🙂

The Moon in Aries will have a slight effect on all of us, but it will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts: Along with those who have a strong Libra placement in their charts

  • Moon in Aries:
  • Sun in Aries:
  • Ascendant or Midheaven in Aries:
  • Mars in Aries Sun in Libra:
  • Moon in the 1st house
  • Aspects to the Moon or Mars:
  • Moon in the 6th house:
  • Mars/Aries in the 6th house:
  • Retrograde Planets:
  • When planets are in retrograde motion, and especially when more than one planet is retrograde at a given time, we can expect delays, misunderstandings, re-doing, re-assessing, re-modelling… Issues from the past may resurface, and situations may repeat themselves. Life is unlikely to be moving full steam ahead… patience is advised, along with checking and double checking our work and communication skills… If you don’t understand something, ask… even if you feel “silly” doing so, it’s better to ask now and find out what you need to know, instead of waiting for some time in the future to find out you may have made the wrong decision based on the “wrong” information.
The Moon and Astrology & HOW IT AFFECTS OUR DAILY LIVES…
In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. 🙂
The Moon Void-off-Course:
There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon…

Good for Void-Off-Course Moon: These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

      • Cancer
      • Taurus
      • Sagittarius
      • Pisces…
Opportunity Periods  (thanks to astrologer Jim Shawvan):
There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

Mercury Retrograde: Enters Storm on October 25 Retrograde October 31 to November 20 2019: Remains in “storm” until November 25th

Shining blue neon zodiac Mercury vector symbol

Mercury Retrograde… we hear and see this quite a bit in and out of the astrology world…. and sometimes Mercury gets a bad wrap when he goes retro… but it’s not all bad.. 🙂  When Mercury goes retrograde it would appear from our Earth’s prospective that Mercury is moving backwards….. hmmm no wonder he can cause some confusion…  Yet, if we can “respect” Mercury while he is in this position by applying the “rules” that fit with this circumstance, we can come out of this period with a smile instead of a frown… 🙂

The “rules” are as follows…

  • Pay attention to and do as many things possible with the two letters RE in front of the word… for example… REnovate: REdecorate: REdo: REcreate: REnew:
  • Try not to begin any new projects:
  • Might not be a good time to start a new relationship
  • May be a good time to renew a relationship (depending on personal chart data)
  • Try not to sign important documents. Exception renewing a mortgage, but be very careful about the small print.
  • If you need to sign important papers, make sure you understand everything, if you don’t ask questions.
  • Mistakes in communications and messages are highly likely during this period, so read and REread before you sign or commit.
  • Expect delays in communications or in getting your questions answered.
  • Expect misunderstandings in communications
  • Have patience when communicating
  • Have patience when waiting for a reply or an answer
  • New plans made during this time may not work out as planned or may need to be REdone at a later date

When Mercury is said to be in “storm” he is moving very slowly, the effects of the Mercury Retrograde will apply to a slightly lesser degree.

  • Mercury entered its “storm” on October 25 2019 {Write down new ideas with date and time they occurred, when Mercury is “back on track” go through them and discard the ones you know will not work, then see what you can do with the rest :)}
  • He goes Retrograde on October 31 @ 11:41 am (ET) @ 8:41 am (PT):
  • Mercury turns direct on November 20 @ 2:12 pm (ET) @ 11:12 am (PT)
  • Mercury is clear of its storm November 25th:

Astrology: How it affects our daily life: Saturn goes Retrograde April 2019: September 2019 Saturn turns direct

September 18: Saturn turns direct today @ 4:47am (ET) @ 1:47 am (PT): When a planet turns direct again, it can take a little while for the affects of the direct motion to be felt… Use the next week or so to finish up anything that has been in process, especially anything related to work/career/vocation… As the next few weeks come forward we should gradually begin to feel my focused regarding our public image… If new directions in our working world have been researched during the retrograde motion, we should be able to take some solid, practical and hopefully successful action in this area over the next few weeks.

Astrological Event: Saturn Turns Retrograde

Date: April 29 2019  to September 18 2019

Sign: Capricorn

What does it all mean?

  • Saturn is the planet of restrictions, duty and authority.. He rules Capricorn, is connected to the 10th house:
  • Capricorn is the sign of discipline… she is good at climbing the “corporate ladder” … she can be kind and generous, but also cold and distant… always a fabulous sense of humor though… 🙂 Capricorn is ruled by Saturn… the effect may be stronger or longer lasting, especially for folks who have a strong Capricorn/Saturn chart influence.
  • This can be a good time to re-assess our beliefs, ethics and the values we live and work by.
  • This is a time for re-flection… a good time look within, where we may gain insight and wisdom that seems to have been “missing” of late…
  • Check out all those unfinished projects “hanging around” the house and office… it’s a good time to get organized… get rid of the projects and ideas that are not going to work and focus on finishing up the ones that will
  • Folks who are well-behaved citizens, who follow the rules and have a strong positive “connection” with those in authority, could feel a little “off-kilter” under this influence, but it’s not all bad… just look at this an opportunity to “loosen” up a bit… you are unlikely to go off the rails, and it could be a good opportunity for you to learn something new.

While we will all be affected slightly by this event…

Those with the following in their charts will feel the effects stronger.

  • Sun in Capricorn
  • Moon in Capricorn
  • Ascendant in Capricorn
  • Saturn in Capricorn
  • Any planets or aspects to the 10th house
  • To a lessor effect: Sun in Cancer: Moon in Cancer: Ascendant in Cancer

Astrology and our daily life: Sun Moves into Cancer: Neptune goes retrograde: Summer Solstice: June 21 2019

Illustration of cancer zodiac sign as a beautiful girl. Vector illustration. Stock Vector - 24677328

June 21 2019 The Sun moves into Cancer.

Cancer the Crab: Water: Feminine: Cardinal:

Cancer folk are always trying to take care of everyone. ☺Nurturing is in their nature, in fact it’s so inherent in these guys and gals that if they don’t have a family close by they will create one from the folks they spend time with.

Emotional Cancer folk usually operate on ‘gut feelings’ and while they enjoy the company of others around them, spending some time alone in private can do wonders for the energy levels. Like the phases of the moon that rule Cancer, there are times to be out in front and there are times to take a back seat to rejuvenate.

The thing to watch for with being a Cancerian is not to get caught up in the “needy market”… Depending on others to make one feel “better” is not the best way to explore the finer, points of one’s nature. We all love to have someone around us who wants to take care of us, but most of us don’t want to be “mothered” all of the time. 🙂

Most “crabs” or those with a “crab” influence are great in the kitchen, as feeding others is another way to say “I love you”. For these folk whipping something up for supper is hardly ever a problem (unless mum is feeling a little “crabby”).

Cancer rules the breasts and stomach. Issue’s with the tummy are likely when under stress, during a full moon or when ignoring healthy eating habits.

Sensitive by nature Cancer folk, may at times, imagine slights from others and become defensive or withdrawn (as a crab into its shell) in an effort to block any hurt. This is something that should be watched for especially during emotionally vulnerable times (menstruation/ovulation/work or family stress/full moon), actions taken or words spoken during this time may cause more upset than intended or needed.

June 21 2019 is also the 1st day of summer for 2019 and will be the longest day of the year and the shortest night for our hemisphere.

  • A positive time where being outside is the norm along with spending time with loved ones and friends.
  • Summer is a celebration of all things light and who couldn’t use some light after the dark days of winter… 🙂

As we welcome summer 2019

We give thanks to Mother Earth.

May we all be blessed this summer with love, laughter and good health… 🙂

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Neptune the planet that rules Pisces and the 12th house goes retrograde on June 21…

Neptune is a a spiritual planet, he is the God of what is not known, what is hidden… he is our dreams and our fantasies… when he goes retrograde, we may not be as forthcoming in our beliefs and it may be more difficult to express our “dreams”… our imagination may be questioned by ourselves… what is real? what is fantasy? where is the line between what may be accomplished in the “real world” and what is just silliness? …

We question ourselves, is it o.k. to dream, to believe in something we cannot see? … It’s all good, however, take care when something or someone comes along that seems too good to be true… we may not be seeing all that there is to see, we may believe in things that cannot be…

It may not be the best time to put our faith in others, nor in what we cannot understand… use caution and common sense… 🙂

Warm Birthday Wishes :

Ian, Christine, Janine,  Jeff (RIP) Rose (cusp) And warm birthday wishes are sent to everyone celebrating a Cancerian birthday. Happy New Year All… ☺

Astrology and how it affects our daily life: Pluto goes Retrograde April 24 2019

Pluto is the planet of regeneration, death, destruction, decay, sex, reincarnation, recycling and rejuvenation. He is the ruler of Scorpio (old ruler of Scorpio was Mars) and he is connected to the 8th house and the reproductive organs in the human body. Pluto is one of the outer planets of our system and as such, his influence isn’t as strong as the inner planets… but it will still affect us to some extent…He is retrograde in the sign of Capricorn and will remain retrograde until October 2 2019.

What does it mean when Pluto goes Retrograde?

  • We may find we are re-assessing our use of power, or how we “control or manipulate” others/situations.
  • Some folks may find they are “forced” into giving up bad habits.. (which isn’t a bad thing if it’s helps you to become a better you)
  • Our desire to control, or for control decreases, this can be a good thing for the folks around the folks who get through life by controlling or “bullying” others for the sake of their own agenda’s… But might not be so good for the folks who need a push to get motivated or moving with life.
  • This can be a good time to reflect on how we have been dealing with the changes and transformations that have taken place since the last Pluto retrograde… if we haven’t been doing too well with our changes, we might get some clues on how to make it a little easier now.
  • If you have folk in your life who have a tendency to want to control you, (remember, this is sometimes done out of love and good intentions) .. it’s as good a time as any right now to distance yourself from these folks or to remove them from your life all together.
  • Those with the following in their natal, transit or progressed charts will feel the effects of this Pluto retrograde the most.
  • Sun in Scorpio
  • Moon in Scorpio
  • Pluto in Scorpio
  • Ascendant in Scorpio
  • Midheaven in Scorpio
  • Aspects to Pluto
  • Pluto aspects to the Sun, Moon Mars, Mercury, and Venus.
  • Sun in the 8th house
  • Pluto in the 8th house.
