What does it all mean?

  • Virgo is all about the details, so be prepared to see to them or at least have someone else see to them for you, you will feel better :)

For some, it could be a rather challenging day, and we may find that our “dream world” falls away, only to show a not so nice reality. Perhaps it’s best to not reach for the moon today. 
  • April 9th: The Moon makes a square to Jupiter in Gemini later in the evening. She makes a quincunx just before midnight (PT) to the Sun in Aries. The day should go o.k. however, if there are plans for the evening, there may be a few hic-cups along the way. 
  • April 10th: The Moon makes the following aspects: A quincunx to the Sun in Aries, and Chiron in Aries before 10 am. Then she makes an opposition to Venus in Pisces, and a trine to Uranus in Taurus before noon. She makes another opposition, this time to Saturn in Pisces around Noon. By 3pm, the Moon sextiles Mars in Cancer and opposes Mercury in Pisces. The energy today may feel all over the place, however, things should move along fairly smoothly. Expect delays, missed buses, silly “murphy’s law” happenings and maybe crossed communications.

Check that other factor are favorable before committing to any new situations, especially if they are to be long term… Situations that involve communications, transportation and technology are likely to be the most successful…. 

Take care not to be too critical, towards the self and others…

It can be a very productive time at work, this includes community work, volunteer work, vocational work and hobbies… 

Because the new moon is the sign of Virgo, Mercury is in the sign of Virgo and the Sun is in the sign of Virgo… This could be a great time for new writing material… so if you are a writer, have wanted to be writer or just need to get pen to paper for whatever reason… :)

  • Virgo pays close attention to details, works hard and does what is needed… Virgo is also critical of themselves and others. 
  • Mercury is comfortable in Virgo, as he rules her… Details at work will take precedence over other things making this a good time to get ahead in work projects… However, it is easy to get so caught up in the details, busy taking care of the little things, that we can miss out on the bigger picture…. take a step back and look up and around once in a while… :)
  • Exercise and a healthy diet will help to take care of any of nervous tension or anxiety, which can be an issue for some folks when Mercury visits with Virgo…
