  • Date: June 5 2024
  • Moon Sign: Gemini:
  • Moon Phase: 4th
  • Void-of-Course: June 7 @8:16 am(ET) @5:16am (PT) to moon in Cancer a short time later
  • Opportunity Period: None
  • New Moon: June 6th @8:38 am (ET) @ 5:38 am (PT).

What does it all mean?

    • Gemini is an air sign and needs lots of stimuli. She is ruled by Mercury.
    • The house connected to Gemini is the 3rd house of: day-to-day travel/affairs and siblings… we could find ourselves busy with multiple things going on, even if they are just in our own minds… ;)
    • We may find we are trying to do multiple things at once, which may not go exactly as we may have planned. If you do find you have tons of ideas spinning around in your head, take pen to paper and jot them down… it will ease the “inside chatter” and you may find some of them useful later on.
    • Could be lots of chit chatting going on, and some of us may have to make a concerted effort to listen instead of chat.
    • Caution is advised when doing up letters, emails and relaying messages, as much as we may think we have it right, it’s better to check one more time
    • It’s a good time to get those lists and notes made up… we can feel good about putting pen to paper now.
    • Boredom may be at our door step and we may feel more restless than usual.
    • The next few days may be positive for: buying a vehicle, entertaining guests, hair cut (for less growth), joining a club, sending mail, and mowing the lawn to retard growth.
    • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts.
          • Sun in Gemini
          • Moon in Gemini
          • Moon in the 3rd house (equal)
          • Mercury in Gemini
          • Ascendant in Gemini
          • Midheaven in Gemini
          • Any aspects to the Sun, Moon, Mercury or Pluto
          • Those who have a strong Sagittarius influence in their chart

New Moon

Appears in Gemini on June 6th

All of the above influences will be intensified.

Traditionally, the new moon is the best time to begin anything new… wait until the moon moves into the 1st phase on the 7th if you can… :).

Gemini is a dual sign, the Sun is also in Gemini now… it may be more challenging to know what project to begin first…However, if we can resist the urge to begin more than one thing at a time, we can be more successful at getting something accomplished.

Notes: Mercury entered the sign of Gemini on Monday, June 3rd. This is a very comfortable position for Mercury, as Gemini is one the signs that he rules.

Our ability, or need to chatter will be highlighted for the next few weeks… Some of us could find ourselves busier with our community, neighbours or siblings… Take advantage of this time to communicate your needs, getting your point across in a gentle, yet firm manner.

Mercury also rules technology and transportation, perhaps this is a good time to purchase a new, new/used vehicle and or technological devices… Alternatively, some of us may experience a few “hic-ups” in those area’s.. “Activate” your communication abilities if you do have to deal with mechanics or technicians, you might surprise yourself as to how easily you are able to communicate your concerns.

Mercury will remain in Gemini until the middle of the month.

The Moon and Astrology

HOW IT AFFECTS OUR DAILY LIVES…

In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. :)

The Moon Void-of-Course:

There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void of Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void of Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-of-Course moon…

Good for Void-Of-Course Moon: These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

  • Cancer
  • Taurus
  • Sagittarius
  • Pisces…

Opportunity Periods

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

  • Opportunity Period: April 29 @11:45 am (ET) @ 8:45 am (PT) to moon void of course. “Very positive OP ideal for constructive and innovative projects, but Mercury is slow and the Moon is waning, so it is preferable to focus on work started before late March” (if possible) PB

  • Rules and regulations may be in focus, and depending on how you deal with these, it could be a favorable time or a stressful one.

  • In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. :)

  • April 1: Mercury goes into retrograde motion for the next few weeks, if possible put off making long term commitment’s or the signing of important papers. However, life doesn’t move to the beat of Mercury’s drum, and decisions need to be made, take care when reading over legal documentations, take care when expressing your needs, follow your instincts… and all should be well…  😊
