We try hard to post on a regular basis, but time flies, so forgive us if we are tardy in our posts.☺
Our posts are mostly about local happenings but sometimes include news/events from afar… We enjoy spreading the word for small business’s and those with creative fun hobbies, and we advertise for free… We sell services such as emailed tarot card readings, and astrology charts, we have a combined astro-reading which includes a tarot reading and a month by month horoscope.
SGC also has product for sale ….All pricing on our site includes applicable taxes and estimated shipping costs. Shipping costs have been estimated for Canada only, international and U.S. shipping will cost extra, of which the buyer will be notified before transaction is completed. We accept payment by credit card via pay pal, account deposit by pay pal, and cash.

Durham Residents are being asked to be vigilant regarding mosquitoes. Please remember to empty all places water may have collected after a rain storm. Mosquitoes use stagnant water to lay their eggs, even a little bit of water is enough.
Mosquitoes spread the West Nile Virus. Samples recently collected July 24. from permanent mosquito traps in Ajax and Oshawa have tested positive for the virus.
The virus is spread to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito. Mosquito’s become infected by feeding upon the blood of a bird that carries the virus. The disease is not spread from person to person, nor form bird to person.
Symptoms: (Usual)
Fever, Headache, Body Ache, Nausea, Vomiting, Rash on chest, stomach or back.
Symptoms: (Rare)
Muscle Weakness, Stiff Neck, Confusion, Tremors, Numbness and Sensitivity to light.
Symptoms usually develop between 2 and 15 days after being bitten.

August 31 2012 sees our lovely lady settling in the sign of Pisces…
Sleep, meditation, prayer are all things we may feel like doing when the Moon is in this sign… it’s a great time for inner reflection or for going through old memories and sorting out what we need to keep with us, what we need to forgive and what we need to forget… However, alcohol and drugs can also beckon us during this full moon, it is advisable therefore to be aware of the possibility of abusing these substances especially if trying to purge unpleasant memories. Prescription drugs are also dangerous during this time and should be used with care, perhaps keeping such items in a safe place may also be advisable.
Compassion is at her utmost during this time, along with the urge to be more spiritual, and the belief in a better world… :)
Those most affected by this full moon will be anyone who has the following: The Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Neptune in Pisces.
