Town of Whitby Public Open House: Residential and Commercial Building Permit Process

SGC Admin: We love our homes and our business space… but sometimes we would like to change or improve them.. It’s a lot of work for sure but the end result is usually worth it… :)

However, there are rules and regulations one needs to abide by when living within a residential town… and the first expense one needs to incur before doing any renovations is the purchase of the building permit…

The building permit allows you to make the changes you would like to your property while keeping within the regulations of the Town, by doing this you can avoid possible expensive “tear downs” in the future or challenges when attempting to sell your property.

The upcoming Public Open House will, hopefully answer some of the questions you may have regarding such renovations…

Full Moon in Scorpio April 25 2013 and partial lunar eclipse

This month’s full moon takes place in the sign of Scorpio.

And Partial Lunar Eclipse

moonphasesmoving

Scorpio is one of the most intense signs in the zodiac, and the moon relates to our feelings/moods/emotions.. indicating this full moon could prove to be one of intense emotions.

An eclipse is an important event in astrology as it can strengthen the traits of either the moon or sun, this can be positive or negative. The natal effect of a lunar or solar eclipse can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months.

This month’s Lunar (moon) eclipse is the first of the year and is a partial eclipse, meaning only a part of the moon will be eclipsed. It is likely that the effects of this eclipse will be lessened, but should still be considered.

With the full moon in Scorpio you are asked to be aware of your emotions. Don’t act on what you think/feel is going on, make sure you find out the facts before making any accusations or taking actions that you may regret later…Be sure that your lover is cheating on you before accusing, keep feelings of jealousy, passion and desire in check… Remember with the partial eclipse in effect what ever is put into action now may have repercussions at a later date.

This months full moon will have more of an influence on those who have the following in their charts…

Moon in Scorpio: Sun in Scorpio: Moon in 8th house: Moon in 12th house:

New Link for lost pets….

SGC Admin… Thanks to Nancy Martin, Mental Health Leader at LDCSB and a connection on linkedIn… we have found another way of reaching out to lost pets..

The following website is dedicated to helping lost pets… If you have a pet who has gone missing, or you have seen/rescued a lost pet have a look on here, the more a lost pet is “advertised” the greater the chance of it being reunited with it’s family…. :)

Reblogged: The Better Man Project: Simple But Significant (XXVI)

SGC Admin: I am not a huge sports fan, but I appreciate the hard work and sacrifice that goes into professional sport…

However, I am a fan of  shared inspiration, and the following blog post (a partial interview with the basket ball great Jordan) is inspirational .. … “never give up, never surrender”

Check out the link below… :)
