SGC Admin: Have you ever thought how much time you could save each day by having meals prepared ahead of time, how about having a whole week’s worth of meals ready and waiting for you to just heat them up…?? Well if you have then there is one lady who is happy to help make this happen for you…
Lise Whissell is passionate about cooking but has gone through some difficult times in the kitchen, where she could have used an extra pair of hands with meal preparation.
And so when the opportunity arose for her to investigate the possibility of being that extra pair of hands for others, she just couldn’t resist.
Lise is happy to help you put together healthy, great tasting meals for the week ahead and she is always happy to work with you regarding diet restrictions.
To contact Lise to find out if she can help you out with meal times…
SGC Admin: It’s getting to be near that time folks when we honor our parents with their special days, and if we are parents we get to be loved and spoiled and treated like queens and kings… If you have a parent you need to spoil maybe this weekend’s craft and gift show will help you find just what you need…

Multiple sclerosis (MS)MS affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other effectively. Nerve cells communicate by sending electrical signals called action potentials down long fibers called axons, which are contained within an insulating substance called myelin. In MS, the body’s own immune system attacks and damages the myelin. When myelin is lost, the axons can no longer effectively conduct signals.[4]The name multiple sclerosis refers to scars (sclerae-—better known as plaques or lesions) particularly in the white matter of the brain and spinal cord, which is mainly composed of myelin.[3] Although much is known about the mechanisms involved in the disease process, the cause remains unknown. Theories include genetics or infections. Different environmental risk factors have also been found.
