What does it all mean?

  • Aquarius is ahead of his time, he is capable of thinking and “seeing” things in a different way then the rest of us. This makes the Aquarius moon phase and inventive one. 
  • Aquarius is ruled by Uranus,  the planet of  shock and chaos. His original ruler was Saturn, until Uranus was discovered. And like Uranus, Aquarius folks can surprise us sometimes, they can be rebellious and “cranky” or open minded and extremely helpful. 
  • We may feel more inclined towards kindness, especially on a “global” level or towards animals, the elderly and those worse off than us. Aquarius has a distinctly humanitarian streak. 
  • The time may be right to understand/learn about new technology, such as a new phone, tablet or t.v. coding or crypto.
  • We may be feeling more rebellious than usual, prompting us to try new things and/or meet new people. 
  • Be careful not to break tradition just because one feels like being different. Teenagers may feel the need to express themselves, so parents be for-warned. 
  • Personal freedom and individuality is very important now. Partner’s try not to restrict each other’s movements. Parent’s, it might be a tight line you walk now. Employer’s give your “worker’s” a little “slack”. 
  • Being organized might not go as planned, so expect weird schedule’s and interrupted meetings…
  • Changes may be in the air…if you are o.k. with change, or you absolutely have to make changes, now could be an excellent time to go ahead with your plans.
  • Maybe a good time for inventions.

When the moon is new, it is said to be a good time to begin new projects, jobs, relationships, anything that we have not had the pleasure of experiencing before. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-of-Course moon…

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

We are still here… :)

Hi Everyone; 😊

We hope that you have all enjoyed the holiday season… :) For some the season brings sadness, we understand this fully, having lost loved ones over the last 7 years, most recently we lost our beloved brother in law on November 27 2022. May next year be much better for all

However, we did have company this Christmas, such company, that filled our hearts with joy and gratitude… saying goodbye again, was an emotional challenge, especially as one good bye was today, January 6th, with a full moon in Cancer, Mercury retrograde in Capricorn, and opposition between the sun, moon and mercury. I can honestly say that the water element of Cancer, was flowing freely.

Due to the loss of our loved one occurring close to Christmas and the surprise visit from family, we haven’t had the time or the energy to post our usual planetary updates… we appreciate your patience and your support… and we fully expect to be posting our updates once again in the very near future…

FYI: Friday January 6th sees a full moon in Cancer occurring just after 6pm. Cancer is ruled by the moon, the moon is happy in this sign, however, as with all full moons, emotions can run high… if you feel like crying, there is nothing wrong with allowing yourself a good “cleansing”… Love and doing actions that show that love is what this full moon is all about… The Full Moon is said to be the best time for releasing, letting go of used up emotions, creating space from toxics relationships, ending bad habits, and the ending of situations that no longer serve you… Sometimes such endings occur without our “consent” we are forced into them, at other times, we are “directed” towards possible changes, or towards opportunities to end what is no longer working… in these instances, we need to be aware and awake.

Mercury is in retrograde motion, in the sign of Capricorn… Mercury rules over, transportation, communications and technology, he is the messenger… We can expect disruptions in these area’s when Mercury is in retrograde motion, during this time it is better to re-do then begin anew.. Expect to have to re do things. Career and work situations, frustrations, ending and change are most likely to affected during this mercury retrograde.

     What does it all mean?

  • Taurus needs emotional and material security, so we may find we are more interested in our financial affairs.
  • This may prove to be a good time to make investments for the future or to begin plans for the next financially responsible phase.
  • Those with strong fire signs (especially Aries) may get impatient with those who are slower at making up their minds, take care not to push too hard guys and gals, it won’t get things moving any faster if you are dealing with folks who have a strong Taurus inclination. 
  • Taurus has lots of patience, indicating this could be a good time to deal with people/projects/situations that take up more time than is liked.
  • Things that give us pleasure, such as comfort foods, wine, relaxing, good music and giving/receiving “loving’s” are all things we may enjoy right now
  • Some of us may be feeling more frugal than usual, preferring to save our funds instead of spend them.

  • Write down on what it is, that you desire to be completed
  • If you have a desire to change your way of life in some way, such as becoming more healthy, finding a new job, picking up a new hobby, thus resulting in the “ending” of your current ways..(doing nothing, stuck in a rut, miserable about what you are lacking) write down those changes too…
  • Read the words you have written, let them sink into your being…
  • Take a fire proof dish, away from flammable products, light a candle or make a tiny fire..
  • When ready, take your piece of paper, read it again and ask the Universe, Spirit, God, Goddess, whomever you “follow” to accept your words and help you realize them. (Don’t forget to say “thank you”)
  • Put the paper to flame or place in the fire and burn the paper…
  • You have now set your intentions for the month, and in this case with an eclipse, you have created a ripple affect that will last up to 6 months. 
  • Take care what you “wish” for

The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, will affect everyone to an extent, those with Taurus or Scorpio influences, especially those with 16 degree chart locations, will feel the effects the most.

  • The new moon is traditionally the best time for beginnings and the influences listed above will be stronger under a new moon… especially for those who have Scorpio or Taurus chart placings… 
  • When the moon renews herself in the sign of Scorpio, it may be wise for us to “be careful what we wish for” We are more passionate now and our emotions can get sometimes get the best of us.
  • Scorpio, has a connection to the “mysteries of the other world” She is intrigued by it… She will research it and sometimes embrace it…
  • Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and connected to the 8th house. Her ancient ruler was Mars.

When a planet is in retrograde motion, it usually means that as a species, we have the opportunity to look back, redirect our energy, fix some things, while letting other things go completely. It can also mean that in the area’s related to the planet may be slightly more fuzzy than we are used to.
