What’s it about: Join our Library Archivist, Sarah Ferencz, in this interactive Remembrance Day program. The presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m. View two of our archival collections based on the First and Second World Wars: Participants will have the opportunity to examine letters from a Whitby soldier in the First World War as well as records from a local group working in the home front during the Second World War. Local resident, Steve Gusterson, will also be displaying his amazing collection of military paraphernalia, including helmets, gas masks, ephemera, weapons, and uniforms.
