In astrology, The sun represents our core being, it is the centre of who we are. Yet it is but a small part of us, as we must take into account the influence on us, from the other 9 “planets” in our present system.
The planet earth cannot survive without the Sun, and so it is with us, no matter how we may try to avoid or “run away” from the traits or our sun sign, they will always be a part of us… :) Every sun sign has positive and negative traits, it’s best to work with the positive and accept the negatives keeping them under control and being aware of them as much as we can.
The Sun in Libra: Air: Cardinal: Masculine: The Scales:
It’s not easy being a Libra, we see both sides of just about every situation. We truly do not like confrontation and because Venus is our ruler, we have a tough time with anything that may be considered “icky”.
Making up our minds is sometimes exhausting and others can become impatient with us.
We try very hard to get along with everyone, but it doesn’t always work.
We see beauty everywhere, we love beauty and will make our surrounding reflect this if and when we can.
While we may not know how to go about making money, we do enjoy it as it brings us the ability to look nice, and to surround ourselves with nice belongings.
Most of us need a partner in our lives, we get along well one on one and have a romantic streak.
We need balance in our life like no other, and when it’s not available we can dive into depression..
We believe in fairness and justice, so much so that we can drive ourselves crazy trying to get others to see what we do, and many a times we are hurt by those who are less than fair.
We are the diplomats of the world and try very hard to “go with the flow”. Yet we aren’t always the nicest of people if you catch us off our scales, we can hurt you with our words and sometimes we can be aggressive when we have reached our limit of caring…
Happy Birthday to all Libra people with special hugs and love going out to the following:
Dustin, Neil Jr. Bev, Marie, Susan, Andrew, Steve C. and Gary… :)
The international day of PEACE takes place on September 21 2013. As the title implies the intention is for the whole world to be at peace for one day…
Every living being on this planet is connected.. And with the world population growing we need to all get along.. it’s not so hard if we can put EGO, GREED AND JEALOUSY aside. :)
The Moon will not be in any sign as she becomes full but will settle into visit with Aries at 12:58 pm and stay there until September 20 when she will once again become void off course until she changes signs on September 21.
Traditionally the Full Moon is thought to be a good time to finish up projects and bring things to a close.
The Moon in Aries: This could prove to be a challenging time for some. Aries is bold and brave and sometimes gets us into trouble by forging ahead without any thought to consequences. Aries is childlike in his desire to explore, which can put one into troubling or challenging circumstances. It’s easier to speak up when the moon is in Aries, we want to express our feelings and let others know we have had enough or we may simply want to be heard.
Helping us to speak up or put ourselves forward can be a good thing, especially for those of us who aren’t very good at it the rest of the time. Having the moon in Aries also helps us to focus on the self instead of others, which again is good for those who forget to include themselves in their own support network. However, the full moon as we all know can bring about some very odd behaviour in some of us, in fact most of us likely feel more agitated and less patient during a full moon, and indeed the day or so leading up to the full moon and sometimes a day or so afterwards.
Now, if we put the full moon’s influence and Aries in the some room together we could end up with some trying moments. Aries is ruled by Mars, and Mars is the planet of aggression, he is masculine and wishes to assert himself whenever possible. The moon represents our emotional side.
So… it’s a very good idea to take time to monitor our emotions and reactions when these two are together, we may be prone to arguments, impulsive decisions, rushing about (which can cause accidents) and saying/doing things we later regret. Harsh words said now may cause more damage than was ever intended. It’s best to stay away from irritating people, keep to yourself (if you know you are going to be grumpy) and use the Mars energy in positive way, like cleaning out a closet or the car, or participating in sport activity that will tire you out, leaving little energy for negative behaviour.
The Moon in the 2nd quarter: This is the time when we want to finish up our projects and feel the satisfaction of doing so. It can be a time of personal development and growth as we begin to understand ourselves a little more. Although with an Aries moon, inner growth is less likely, outer growth, such as the finishing of a work, study or sport subject may go smoothly.
Moon in the 4th house: Focus may be on the home and private life now. Be aware of upset caused through heated discussions or arguments. Avoid domestic disputes whenever possible.
Those most likely affected by this months full moon are those with any of the following:
Moon in Aries: Mars in Aries: Moon in the 4th house: Mars in the 4th house
Negative aspects may produce challenging times, whereas positive aspects may produce windows of opportunity. Aspects are the connections (by degrees) that one planet or point makes to another within the charts.
When the moon is void off course we can be unsure as to how we are really feeling about something or something, it’s therefore advisable to stick to routine tasks at this time. If any legal documents or long-term commitments are in the picture take care to make sure you understand everything that is involved before signing… Delaying important decisions and commitments is highly recommended when the moon is void off course…
