Full Moon January 15 2014

Our lady becomes Full on January 15 2014 in the sign of Cancer.

The full moon in Cancer brings us closer to family, we feel the need to nurture and take care of our loved ones. We can also become over dependant or needy, and our emotional self’s may be more sensitive than usual, take care not to make mountains out of mole hills, an innocent remark is just that, don’t see cruel intentions where there are none.

The Full Moon is the perfect time to finish up your projects… and for the Cancer Full Moon, projects may be house/home/family related ones.

The moon will go Void off Course at approximately 8:52 pm, her last aspect is an opposition to the Sun in Capricorn. Most times a void off course moon doesn’t bear well for decision-making, but this one may be on our side. We are in a time of opportunity from 4:03 am until the moon enters into the sign of Leo on Thursday at 5:00 am.

We may feel the effects of the full moon, but those with the following chart positions are likely to feel the effects stronger

Sun in Cancer: Moon in Cancer:

Unconditional Love Revisited

  • Date: Thursday, January 16, 2014
  • Time: 6:30 PM
  • Location: Whitby Public Library 405 Dundas St WEST, Whitby, ON (map) Tentatively in the archive room on the upper floor.
  • What’s this meet up about? Check out what Patrice the organizer has to say..

“Hello everyone,

The word love is one that can often be under/misused.  Many times we use the word love to describe a strong liking, such as I love that movie, or I love your dress, or I love chocolate cake.  This can devalue the true meaning of Love.

In this session let’s talk about what real love is.  What pure unconditional love is and what it means to those who are embarking, or have embarked on changing their perspective on life to a “more spiritual” one.

I will be sharing a video during this session.

Hope to see you there.”

Time to Nominate your local “hero”

SGC Admin: Thank goodness for those who have a pure heart, for they are the ones who give unselfishly, who assist others and their community, not for their own reasons, but because of one simply humane trait, compassion…. These are the folk who go beyond their job description, such as the teacher who puts in more hours than they should, the volunteers who assist those who have to go into the hospital, the doctor who is more concerned about the patients emotional state than spouting off medical terms, the person in the store who is gracious and pleasant every time they serve you… the list is endless…..
