There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon…

  • Moon Phase: 1st moves into 2nd sometime on the 10th
  • Void-of-Course: October 11 @11:53am(ET) @8:53am(PT) to moon into Aquarius just after noon.  Capricorn Moon v/c is not one of the 4 “good signs” 
  • Opportunity Period: None

What does it all mean?

  • Capricorn is business, duty and discipline. She is ruled by Saturn, the planet of restrictions. 
  • Change may be more challenging to deal with, and we may be resistant towards it…  
  • Dealings with the elderly may be in focus. 
  • Dealings with “authority” types, such as teachers, principles, supervisor’s may be in focus. Being respectful of such positions may help to alleviate tension. 
  • This could be a good time to get mundane business tasks out-of-the-way
  • If you have been waiting to get a “chaotic” situation under control, now may be a good time to do it. 
  • Rules and regulations may be in focus, and depending on how you deal with these, it could be a favourable time or a stressful one.

  • Gemini is chatty, sociable, can be community orientated and neighbourly… However, Gemini may also be superficial and attracted to the latest trends… Being in Jupiter while he is in retrograde motion, may slow us down a bit regarding our ability to communicate, probably a good thing, as during such times, it is a good idea to think carefully before we speak… Community events may not go as planned, but will still be fun and productive. Some of us may be feeling more restless then usual. 
  • When Jupiter visits a sign/house, he encourages growth in that life area, he is a jolly sort and likes to grow, learn and risk a thing a two along the way to allow growth to happen… Trips and learning something new can be exciting.. The full moon is traditionally said to be the best time to finish up projects, especially fortunate if the moon is sitting in the 4th quarter. However, this full moon sits in the 2nd quarter, which may indicate that completely finishing off those projects isn’t going to happen…. but we can sure make a lot of progress, perhaps “just about” finishing multiply projects instead of concentrating on just one… :)

This months full moon occurs on September 1st @10:22 pm (PT) September 2nd @ 1:22 am (ET)

  • The full moon will emphasize the traits mentioned above.
  • Folk should be on the watch for deception… from without as well as from within.
