Happy New Year Everyone….

Another year passes, and for some, it has been a challenging year, health issues seem to plague many these days… The cost of housing, grocieries and every day needs has increased, and the youth of today, have trouble affording rent or a mortgage, instead they find that living with family/parents is the only alternative… This isn’t the way things were meant to be, nor were they this way before the C19 days of horror… :(

 

We had a good system in place, where if one worked hard, the rewards of a comfort would follow… Immigration was sustatined, guaranteeing a shot at “the good life” for everyone, new comers and those born here…

 

And while our health care system has been in a mess for many years, now it’s in completley in the toilet…

 

However, “hope springs eternal” and that’s a good thing, because as a New Year approaches us, we can most definately hope for a better future, for common sense and good manners to return…

 

We wish you all a fabulous 2025, where laughter, good health and common decency tops the list… From our home to yours, we HOPE and PRAY for a better future…

Happy New Year 2022 Everyone…

Thank you to our followers, for your patience with us during this last year especially. Our posts have not been consistent, (consistency not being one of our strong points to begin with). The past 2 years, the “madness” has disrupted our well meant intentions of trying to be consistent. 🤔

For those who have “held the line” or taken a stand against the tyranny, we acknowledge and applaud your sacrifices and your bravery.

For those who thought they were doing the right thing, and now feel otherwise, we welcome you into the “fold”. Many of us believed we were doing what was right, based on the information we were given. 

For each and every one who respects the right to choose, who employs common sense and logic and ask questions, and who believe that no one should be denied the right to make a living, because they exercise the right to choose and believe in informed consent, we thank you.

Going forward, we hope and pray that the LIGHT will disperse the DARKNESS, that love will triumph over evil and that we will all get back to LIVING our lives in joy, without fear, without segregation or discrimination. And we hope that all those who have perpetuated the evil are made accountable.

Happy New Year…. Let us Welcome the new decade 2020 and take stock of our behaviour on our planet… :)

Thank you so much for following us in 2019 and for all the years, we truly appreciate it and it gives us that little push to keep on going… ;)

As we look towards a new year and a new decade, it’s a good time to ask ourselves, are we helping our planet or harming it… ? Our lives, are a mixture of nature, people, material and sometimes spiritual… What we do each day while living our lives, affects the “whole”….

2019 saw a huge movement towards awareness, the awareness that our human “needs” has created a planetary crisis. For some, this was not new news, we have been aware for over 30 years of the damage our human exsistance was doing to our world. And now the crisis has come to a head…

We thank all those who fight this fight, for those who stand up and speak out, even while they are verbally abused and bullied… We thank all those who try their best to reduce their “footprint”, it isn’t easy, it’s time consuming, it’s thinking before acting, it’s giving up material things, it’s walking more and driving less… most of all, it’s frustrating and upsetting to look around and feel as though no-one really cares, and there aren’t enough of us to make the difference that is needed to stop the destruction…

It is even more important now that we do not give up, “never give up, never surrender” :) Folks are getting “it”, they are open to making changes, governments (well some of them anyway) are understanding the crisis, they are declaring it REAL…. because they cannot declare it anything else… Hang in there ladies and gentlemen, keep doing what you can, listen and learn as you go, and when you get those days, where you want to give up and say to heck with it all… keep in mind that we aren’t fighing for those who can speak up for themselves, for are “fighting” for those who cannot… wildlife, birds, bees, fish, oceans, trees and plants…. :)
