What does it all mean?

  • Pisces is compassionate and caring but can be taken for granted
  • Sometimes Pisces isn’t about helping others but helping oneself.
  • We can be more psychic during a Pisces moon, but we can also be easily deceived, so be sure of the “messages” received during this time.
  • Be careful if something sounds too good to be true, look for the hidden agenda
  • We can be susceptible to taking in stray animals and stray people now.
  • Our hearts can be broken or melted during this time depending on who is telling us what and what may be revealed now.
  • We can feel more spiritual with a Pisces moon, indicating this could be a good time to join a church or spiritual group
  • Keep an open mind when delving into new spiritual situations, ask questions and don’t believe everything you hear or see.
  • We can be wistful, impressionable, nostalgic and dreamy now.

NOTES:

February 19 @ 11:06 pm (PT) February 20 @ 2:06 am (ET). The new moon occurs in Pisces. We now have the Sun in Pisces, and the new moon in Pisces. The New Moon is said to be the best time to start anything new, this will be especially true for anyone with Pisces chart influences. We have a few days to begin our projects. This may be a good time time to begin a new job, relationship or to investigate a new study or career direction. Be aware of what you are told during this time, should you be entering into a contract or new relationship… Folks may be feeling more melancholy and therefor may promise more than they can produce. We may be more sensitive during this time, Pisces is water, and water is connected to our emotions.. like water our emotions can be as still as glass or as wavy as a trampoline… if you are dealing with emotional issues during this time, take care not to let your imagination run away with you… check your facts if you can before coming to conclusions. Things may not go exactly as one imagined, so be prepared to take a different view, change your mind or go in a different direction.

On February 19 @11:56 pm (PT) February 20 @2:06 am (ET). Venus moves into the sign of Aries. Aries is a little “uncomfortable” in Venus, he is all energy, assertion, full steam ahead action,  where as, Venus likes to take her time, she likes to stop and think about things, check out all the pretty things around her.. Venus rules Libra and Taurus, Libra is the opposite sign to Aries, which may give you an idea as to why these two get along but don’t always agree. We could be experiencing some frustrations or impatience, and our relationships may have a few bumps to go over, but on the flip side, we could also be feeling a little braver and up to trying something completely new or different. In our love life, we may be more spontaneous and in it for a fun time, rather than the long haul… If you a sensitive type entering into a new relationship, try not to go “head over heals” on the first date, as the other person may not be feeling the same vibe. Venus is connected to finances, Aries can either be a saver or a spender, enjoy if you have the funds, but watch the budget.

The Moon and Astrology

HOW IT AFFECTS OUR DAILY LIVES…

In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. 🙂

The Moon Void-of-Course:

There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void of Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void of Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-of-Course moon…

Good for Void-Of-Course Moon:

These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

  • Cancer
  • Taurus
  • Sagittarius
  • Pisces…

Opportunity Periods

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

Present Moon Sign/Phase/House:

  • Date: February 4 @3:48 am(ET) @12:48 am (PT)
  • Moon Sign: Leo ♌
  • Moon Phase: 2nd
  • Void-off-Course:  February 6 @9:15 am(ET) @6:15 am(PT) to moon into Virgo in the afternoon *Leo Moon* v/c is not one of the 4 “good signs”
  • Opportunity Period: None

What does it all mean?

  • The Leo Moon enjoys drama. Try not to make “mountains out of mole hills” and tone down on the gossip..
  • The Leo Moon loves to be noticed and recognized. “Pump up” your loved ones, and, if you happen to have a Leo influence in yourself, be aware of how you may be going about getting recognized or appreciated… If you play your cards right this could be a positive time when you get to be where you need to be.
  • Try not to be overly “vain” and be prepared for drama at any-time from any direction
  • Try not to over react, and if it’s not you doing the over reacting, try not to get caught up in the drama, or to encourage the one doing the over reacting
  • It’s a good time to check out the local talent, take in a downtown show, get starry-eyed with your lover, or perhaps look for a new one, as romance is high on the Agenda under this influence.
  • This may be a positive time for: Beauty treatments: Borrowing money: Buying a home: Entertaining Guests: Fixing Cars: Hair Cut (For thickness): Moving: Mowing the Law (to retard growth): Painting: Pouring Cement: Starting new construction: Starting a new job:
  • This moon period will affect everyone, but more so those who have the following in their charts:
  • Moon in Leo:
  • Sun in Leo:
  • Moon in Aquarius
  • Sun in Aquarius
  • Moon in the 5th house
  • Aspects to the moon or the Sun
  • Those who have a strong Aquarius placement in their charts may also feel this moon’s influence more than others.

NOTES

  • The moon becomes FULL in the sign of Leo on Sunday February 5th @ 1:29pm (ET) @ 10:29am (PT)
  • The Full Moon is said to be the perfect time to end up projects, finish up letters and emails, clean out the desk at work, declutter etc… Not a great time to start anything new, but if you have to, the Full Moon will have you slightly more emotional than usual, and with it being in the sign of Leo, we could be feeling braver…
  • This Full Moon will affect us all, however, it is likely to affect those with the following more:
  • Moon in Leo:
  • Sun in Leo:
  • Moon in the 5th house:

The Moon and Astrology; How it affects our daily life; Transiting Moon in Gemini January/February 2023

 Present Moon Sign/Phase/House:
  • DATE: January 30 @3:35am (ET) @12:35am (PT)
    Gemini-16
    Moon Sign: Gemini:
  • Moon Phase: 2nd
  • Void-of-Course: February 1@6:58am (ET) @3:58am (PT) to moon into Cancer later in the afternoon.
  • Opportunity Period: January 31 @11:21 pm(PT) February 1 @2:21 am(ET) until moon void of course.. “It’s the perfect time to connect with others and strengthen your mind, Night owls only!” PB

What does it all mean?

  • Gemini is an air sign and needs lots of stimuli. She is ruled by Mercury.
  • The house connected to Gemini is the 3rd house of: day-to-day travel/affairs and siblings… we could find ourselves busy with multiple things going on, even if they are just in our own minds… ;) Dealings with family, especially siblings, are likely.
  • We may find we are trying to do multiple things at once, which may not go exactly as planned. If you do find you have tons of ideas spinning around in your head, take pen to paper and jot them down… it will ease the “inside chatter” and you may find some of them useful later on.
  • Could be lots of chit chatting going on, and some of us may have to make a concerted effort to listen instead of chat.
  • Caution is advised when doing up letters, emails and relaying messages, as much as we may think we have it right, it’s better to check one more time
  • It’s a good time to get those lists and notes made up… we can feel good about putting pen to paper now.
  • Boredom may be at our door step and we may feel more restless than usual.
  • The next few days may be positive for: buying a vehicle, entertaining guests, hair cut (for less growth), join a club, send mail, and mow the lawn to retard growth.
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts.
        • Sun in Gemini
        • Moon in Gemini
        • Mercury in Gemini
        • Ascendant in Gemini
        • Midheaven in Gemini
