  • Date: July 24
  • Moon Sign: Taurus:  @ 5:42 pm (ET) @ 2:42 pm (PT)
  • Moon Phase: 2nd
  • Void-off-Course: July 26 @ 9:28 pm (PT) July  27 @12:28 am (ET) to moon into Gemini later the night of the 26th (PT) or early Saturday morning on the 27th (ET) Moon in Taurus v/c is one of the 4 “good signs”
  • House(s): 7th: 7th house of relationships/partnerships.
  • Opportunity Period: July 26 5:45 pm (ET) 2:45 pm (PT). This o/p can be used for work or pleasure… if working on a project, try to work on things that were begun before June 28th.

What does it all mean?

  • Taurus needs emotional and material security, so we may find we are more interested in our financial affairs.
  • This may prove to be a good time to make investments for the future or to begin plans for the next financially responsible phase.
  • Taurus has lots of patience, indicating this could be a good time to deal with people/projects/situations that take up more time than is liked.
  • Things that give us pleasure, such as comfort foods, wine, relaxing, good music and giving/receiving “loving’s” are all things we may enjoy right now
  • Some of us may be feeling more frugal than usual, preferring to save our funds instead of spend it.
  • Take your time when the moon is in this sign, there is no need to hurry, and you probably won’t get very far if you do… so sit back and enjoy the ride… 🙂
  • Relationship wise, (7th house) some folks may become a little too “possessive” over loved ones… watch out for this type of behaviour as it can have a negative affect on partners…  :)…. Patience is a virtue, and when it comes to any type of partnership it can also be a life saver….
  •  Keep your temper under check if you can, Taurus is very, very patient and it takes a lot to make her angry, but watch out once she has had enough, she will certainly let you know..
  • When it comes to finances and possessions, we could become rather wrapped up in such topics…it may be good time to go through both, chuck out what isn’t needed (or donate) and tidy up the budget if it is looking a bit tattered… 😉
  • With a Taurus moon in any house… it can be good for: Advertising to sell personal property: Moving: Painting
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts. Those with strong Libra and Scorpio placements in their charts will also be effected.
    • Moon in Taurus,
    • Sun in Taurus,
    • Venus in Taurus
    • Sun in Libra
    • Moon in Libra
    • Venus in Taurus
    • Any aspects to the Moon, Venus.
    • Ascendant or Mid-heaven in Taurus
    • Those with a strong Scorpio influence will also be affected by this moon.

HOW IT AFFECTS OUR DAILY LIVES…

In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. 🙂

The Moon Void-off-Course:

There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon…

Good for Void-Off-Course Moon:

These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

  • Cancer
  • Taurus
  • Sagittarius
  • Pisces…

Opportunity Periods  (thanks to astrologer Jim Shawvan):

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn

The full moon traditionally means endings, or completion… indicating this may be a good time to finish up projects already begun… especially if the moon is in her 4th phase… This month’s Full Moon is in the 2nd phase, indicating it’s still a favorable time to work on projects, but we may not be able to get all (if any) completed. The message with this full moon then, is continue as you have been for the last little while, no hurry, no fuss. Being focused on our tasks could be easier now as the full moon falls in responsible, business-like Capricorn.

When a Lunar Eclipse occurs it usually means that the moon’s influence’s will be stronger and can last from 6 to 12 months. This is only if the moon aspects your natal, progressed or solar arc chart postitions.

  • All of the above will be highlighted as the moon becomes full in this sign. Be careful of coming across unemotional, or to business like… this is great when dealing with business issues, but might not go down too well with close friends or loved ones.
  • This is a great time to get organized though, as we have a better understand that being organized helps us to be more productive.
  • Family business issues may be on the agenda for the next few days, especially those dealing with any of the more mature (elder) family member(s): Do what must be done, but don’t forget to give and take a little hug now and then.
  • Some folk may experience challenges with teenagers, workers or children, rules and guidelines may need to be set.
  • Those with a rebellious streak in their natures, such as Aquarius folk may not take kindly to any rules and regulations during this full moon, they are encouraged to keep their own council if the rules apply to a job, unless of course they are ready to move on to another.
  • Dealings with older folks, especially father types and authority figures may be on the agenda for some of us…

Astrology and how it affects our daily lives: Chrion goes retrograde July 8 2019

Astro-Seek.com
On July 8th 2019 Chiron (The wounded healer) goes retrograde in the sign of Aries: Chrion remains retrograde until December 12 2019.

This could prove to be a challenging time for some of us…and we are encouraged to take note of the challenges, what area of life are they occuring in…?

Most likely, said challenges will have to do with our self-confidence, ego and sense of self…

As with any retrograde motion, it is better to work with the energy, then to work against it….Take some time over the next few months to do some self healing work… try not to pass blame for mistakes past and present on others… ask yourself if you are being truthful to YOU… find what needs to and can be fixed and take action to do so…. accept what cannot be changed and leave it behind…

Take care not to become overly assertive or aggressive with others if you are of a bold nature… On the other hand if you aren’t usually of a bold nature… now may be your time to shine and “tidy” up emotional messes in your life so you can finally move on…
