New Moon January 30 2014 in Aquarius

The moon begins her renewal process once again on January 30 2014, that’s two new moons in the same month… :) we get an extra chance to start anew, or at least it seems that way.

Our lady settles in with the sign of Aquarius at 4:39 pm (eastern time).

When the moon visits with this “unpredictable” sign some of us may get the urge to do something exciting, out of character or daring… Personal freedom is essential to others, so watch for feelings of restriction, and don’t take it to heart too much should a loved one appear to be insensitive. Be careful of becoming fanatical or overly zealous about something or someone, and it might be a good idea to think twice before taking unnecessary risks… :)

CMP Unique Bead Work and Jewellery….. check it out… :)

SGC Admin: I am always amazed at how people can dive into a passion and become focused on being creative… it’s  one of the wonders of human nature… :) And we would like to do our part in spreading some of that wonder, by sharing the jewellery collections of CMP Unique Bead Work and Jewellery…

CMP Unique Bead Work and Jewellery is owned and operated by Claudia Patterson and is located in Canton Ohio, USA…

Claudia shared with us where her passion for bead work and jewellery making began…

CMP 2014 Signature Piece as shown on CMP Facebook page

I enjoy making jewellery and doing my bead work because my grandmother spent a good time making beaded ornaments, jewellery, different beaded crafts like place mates and detailed sculptures from beads. I want to keep her amazing hobby in the family. She passed on about 5 years ago and because of her I am deeply dedicated to what I do. I have been a big art fan since high school. I did sculpting, painting, drawing, bead work and so much more for half of my life. It is important to me and a big part of who I am.

Check out Claudia’s awesome pieces of jewellery for sale on her Facebook page by clicking here.

Please contact CMP Unique Bead and Jewellery directly to place an order or with your questions. Claudia is available to do custom work also. Stay tuned to SGC to see when and where CMP Unique Bead and Jewellery may be appearing at a craft show near you… :) Or “like” CMP’s Facebook page.... :)

Alzheimer Society of Durham Region shares early warning signs…

SGC Admin: Alzheimer and Dementia are probably two of the most difficult situations a family has to work through and when a loved one first develops such a condition it can be almost undetectable. The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region shares the Ten early warning signs, and encourages everyone to ask questions of their health care providers should they have concerns about themselves or their loved ones.

Reading through the signs, some of them could relate to stress, everyday living, changes in environment (such as retiring). However, it is better to be safe then sorry, and the sooner diagnosis can be made the sooner treatment can begin, if caught early the chances of a better quality of life for the patient is expected.
