By 3pm, the Moon sextiles Mars in Cancer and opposes Mercury in Pisces. The energy today may feel all over the place, however, things should move along fairly smoothly. What does it all mean?

  • The Leo Moon enjoys drama. Try not to make “mountains out of mole hills” and tone down on the gossip..
  • The Leo Moon loves to be noticed and recognized. “Pump up” your loved ones, and, if you happen to have a Leo influence in yourself, be aware of how you may be going about getting recognized or appreciated… If you play your cards right this could be a positive time when you get to be where you need to be.

The only “hiccup” will be the opposition, some of us may need to end a situation that has no way of improving. 
  • Monday April 7th @7:08am (ET) @4:08am (PT) Mercury in Pisces goes direct, he remains in “storm”, moving slowly, until April 14th. Communications, technology and transportation area’s may still experience some upsets. 
  • Monday April 7th: Venus in Pisces conjuncts Saturn in Pisces around 7am. The Moon makes a sextile to Jupiter in Gemini and a Trine to the Sun in Aries in the morning. As we move into the evening, The Moon makes the following aspects: A trine to Chiron in Aries, A square to Uranus in Taurus, a quincunx to Venus in Pisces, and a quincunx to Saturn in Pisces. The moon goes void of course in the evening (PT)adding to any confusion or foggy thinking, which may intensify some of the aspects.  Venus in Pisces rounds out the day with a sextile to Uranus in Taurus. Depending on what one has on the go today it can be a good day or a day with challenging spots throughout, perhaps an ongoing issue will keep popping up, until it’s finally seen to … We can relax in the evening so try not to get too stressed out. 
  • April 8th: The Leo void of course moon makes the following aspects. A square to Uranus in Taurus, a quincunx to Venus in Pisces and Saturn in Pisces, just after midnight, with Venus in Pisces adding her bit when she makes a sextile to Uranus in Taurus around about the same time. At around 3:30 am the moon in Leo makes a quincunx to Mercury in Pisces. It’s probably a good thing that most folks will be sleeping at the time of these aspects, while we see a positive aspect in the sextile, the rest can be rather challenging to move through.

What does it all mean?

  • The moon is happy in the sign of Cancer because the moon rules this sign.
  • Being sympathetic towards the worries of others is easier, as can be more empathetic now. 
  • Nurturing our loved ones seems to be at the top of our to do lists. 
  • Domestic chores and responsibilities may be easier to attempt, in fact some of us may be very happy making our home a comfortable and enjoying respite from the trials and tribulations of the outside world.

What does it all mean?

  • Gemini is an air sign and needs lots of stimuli. She is ruled by Mercury and is connected to the 3rd house.
  • The 3rd house is the house of: day-to-day travel/affairs and siblings…
  • We could find ourselves busy with multiple things going on, even if they are just in our own minds… 
  • Dealings with family, especially siblings, may occur. Memories are shared and possible solutions to old problems can be found. 
  • We may find we are trying to do multiple things at once, which may not go exactly as we may have planned. If you do find you have tons of ideas spinning around in your head, take pen to paper and jot them down… it will ease the “inside chatter” and you may find some of them useful later on.

What does it all mean?

  • Aries is action, he is the most masculine of the Zodiac signs as he is ruled by the planet Mars
  • We should have slightly more get up and go when the moon is in Aries
  • We are happy to defend our loved ones
  • We are apt to speak up more, even those of us who consider themselves to be “timid” can find the voice they need right now. 
  • May be a good time to get your message across or to ask for what you need
  • Be careful when driving especially when upset or angry
  • We may be more susceptible to head injuries or head aches
  • We could be eager to start projects now, however, we have just experienced a full moon, (time to finish up) so if you really want to start something now, choose something small… :)

Mercury enters Pisces. This isn’t the best placement for Mercury, he doesn’t feel 100% himself, so he might not always be up the task. He is also in retrograde motion during this time. Mercury is connected to technology, transportation and communications. Expect messages to get mislaid or sent to the wrong address, communications to get misunderstood, and perhaps a few hic-ups with the car, the cell phone, lap top or other techno thing.

When Mercury is in Pisces, we may not be able to quite grasp the logic of the situation, it is easy for us to see things in “colour”, our imagination is alive and well and we can express ourselves easier, what ever our chosen method of communication. However, for some of us, frustrations may arise with our loved ones and/or work college’s may drift of from the subject being discussed, causing us to constantly re-direct the conversation.

Solar Eclipse, New Moon 9 degrees Aries.

The Sun is also in Aries now, and this is a good position for the “warrior”. The new moon is the perfect time to begin new projects, jobs, relationships, enterprizes, studies, just about anything you need. The Aries New Moon is slightly more powerful than other signs… Because Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, he is the beginning, he is connected to the 1st house of self… Anything that empowers us as an individual will be in focus now, making this a good time to focus on the things that we need to do for ourselves, to help propel us forward towards our goals… or to help us get back on track after being thrown off, (life has a way of doing that sometimes)… What ever it is you need to push youself forward, prop yourself up or assert your needs will be easier to do during this time… We can feel braver and better equipped to try something new, or protect others.

The Solare eclipse highlites our emotional self, the energy of the solar eclipse may last up to 6 months.. This Solar New Moon Eclispe, will have a great affect on the following: Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer (4 to 14 degrees).

Neptune enters the sign of Aries.

  • Neptune rules Pisces, he is imagination, compassion, sensitive, psychic and nostaligic. Aries can be impatient, insensitive and may find it difficult to unravel the imagination. The traits have equal “power” but niether one can out do the other… However, Aries can push us out of our “wonderland” into action, so don’t while away our days in dream land, and Neptune can pull us back and teach us to be compassionate and patient… If things are meant to happen they will, in good time….
