What does it all mean?

  • Gemini is an air sign and needs lots of stimuli. She is ruled by Mercury. 
  • Gemini is connected to the 3rd house of: day-to-day travel/affairs and siblings…
  • Dealings with family, especially siblings, may happen. Memories are shared and possible solutions to old problems can be found. 
  • We could find ourselves busy with multiple things going on, even if they are just in our own minds… 
  • “Tip”: If you do  have tons of ideas spinning around in your head,  jot them down… it will ease the “inside chatter” and you may find some of them useful later on. 
  • Could be lots of chit chatting going on, some of us may have to make a concerted effort to listen instead of chat.
  • Caution is advised when doing up letters, emails and relaying messages, as much as we may think we have it right, it’s better to check one more time: Mercury has just gone retrograde (April 21), extra caution is advised when corresponding with others. 
  • A new study could be on the cards for some of us.. and it will likely be approached with enthusiasm. 
  • It’s a good time to get those lists and notes made up… we can feel good about putting pen to paper now.
  • Boredom may be at our door step and we may feel more restless than usual. 
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts.

  • Monday, August 26th: The moon is showing only one aspect, a square to the Sun in Virgo. Squares can make things awkward, but they do help us to make necessary changes, sometimes, we need a push and Squares can help us to make the changes we keep putting off. 
  • Tuesday August 27th: Venus has one aspect, a trine to Uranus in Taurus, Trines are helpful and harmonious, bringing in co-operation and compromise. The Moon experiences 6 aspects throughout the day: Squares to Saturn in Pisces and Venus in Virgo. Conjunctions to Jupiter in Gemini and Mars in Gemini. Conjunctions can be either helpful or a hinderance: Sextiles to Mercury in Leo and Chiron in Aries.  Sextiles are also “friendly” aspects, but can make it easier for us to remain in a “rut”, being comfortable isn’t always the best, sometimes we need to be motivated. 
  • Wednesday August 28th: Mercury turns direct, but remains in it’s storm (moving slowly) until September 3rd… Communications, technology and transportation issues may start to become resolved, but not everything will fall into place at once. Continue to double check all communications, and don’t be surprised by glitches re: technology/transportation. The moon experiences two squares, one to Venus in Capricorn and one to Neptune in Pisces. The moon moves into the sign of Cancer on Wednesday at 4;47am (ET) @ 1:47am (PT)

In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. :) 

The Moon Void-of-Course: 

There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void of Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void of Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-of-Course moon… 

Good for Void-Of-Course Moon:

These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

  • Cancer
  • Taurus
  • Sagittarius
  • Pisces…

Opportunity Periods  

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

  • Void-of-Course: August 19 @2:26pm (ET) @11:26am (PT) to moon into Pisces later in the evening:  Aquarius Moon v/c is not one of the 4 “good signs” Try not to make any important decisions or commitments now. 
  • Opportunity Period: NONE

What does it all mean?

  • Aquarius can be ahead of their time, and capable of thinking and “seeing” things in a different way then the rest of us. 
  • Aquarius may appear to be “flaky”, but don’t be fooled, these folks are very capable… with an almost magically ability to learn anything. 
  • Aquarius is ruled by Uranus,  the planet of  shock and chaos.
  • We may feel may inclined towards kindness, especially on a “global” level or towards animals, and those worse off. Which may mean it’s easier for some to be targeted by those nasty humans, who prefer to rip off little old ladies, instead of making an living. Be aware, especially as this months’ moon in Aquarius will be a Super Full Moon… 
  • For Some folks, the next few days may be advantageous when it comes to understanding or learning about new technology. (NOTE: Mercury is still in retrograde motion, expect glitches and odd occurrences re: technology, communication and travel)
  • This moon period can bring out the rebel in us, prompting us to try new things and or meet new people. 
  • Be careful not to break tradition just because one feels like being different as some may see such behaviour as one trying to be difficult, losing the concept of different.  Teenagers may feel the need to express themselves, so parents be for warned. 
  • Personal freedom and individuality is very important now. Partner’s try not to restrict each other’s movements. Parent’s it might be a tight line you walk now. Employer’s give your “worker’s” a little “slack”. 
  • Being organized might not be as easy now, so expect weird schedule’s and interrupted meetings… (The Mercury retrograde, will make such things even more apparent). 
  • Changes may be in the air… Do we resist or do we Comply? As always it depends on the subject or the situation…
  • Could be a good time for inventions… Perhaps keeping them to paper until Mercury has turned direct ;) would be a good idea. 
  • This months Aquarius moon may be good for:  Borrowing money: Moving: Painting: Pouring cement: Purchasing big appliances: and starting diets.  
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts. And those with strong Leo placing in their charts.

  • A Full Moon in Aquarius will emphasize all the traits of an Aquarius moon…
  • The full moon can represent endings, closure or completions for some of us… And while endings can be painful, the “newness” they present can be euphoric…you just gotta “weather the storm”:)
  • Because Aquarius is attached to the 11th house of Friends, Hobbies, teams and sometimes the community via doing good deeds… The endings/completions during this month’s full moon, may be related to such activities or people.
  • Aquarius can be responsible for inventions and brilliant ideas, and so for some, this month’s full moon may mean the completion of any such fantastic and novel ideas… 
  • This months Full Moon is described as a SUPER MOON.
