Astrologers have told me that the way that planets get their meanings when discovered is usually a direct reflection of what’s happening on our planet.  So, if a new planet was to be discovered, we would have a planet of ‘fear’ & ‘anger’ on some level.  A planet that defines the people under its influence as being closed-minded, hurry-and act-because-someone-else is going to take away your right to believe and live the way you want.  Don’t believe me? Look at the political climate right now with Donald Trump making America Angry again, Ted Cruz attempting to make us only Christian on some level, Hillary forcing upon us her Clinton agenda, & Bernie getting people to “feel the Bern,” (really???? Feel the Bern? Who the hell ever wants to feel any type of BURN???? That campaign manager needs to be fired or study a course on intentions 😀)

But do you see what I did here?  I just painted in broad-brush strokes all the candidates platforms in a very quick and easy way.  In no way was it objective. Now, do they all stand for a lot on their individual platforms? 100%. Did I do a good job telling you objectively what they are? Nope. That is not for me to impose. Actually, it’s not for anyone to impose upon someone else.  But its happening right now in a not so subtle way with the new law passed in North Carolina. The ironic thing is that I think ALL the candidates have a perspective, great ideas, goals to make America great again but the one thing we ALL need to look at is how does it affect EVERYONE, in an inclusive way.

If we are a family, and in that family, we know that one of our siblings has a terrible nut allergy, wouldn’t we do everything to protect Little Bobby? Or would we say, well screw him, just because he can’t have nuts, why do I need to suffer? We would be respectful of his health & safety. As a country, we are a family. As a world, we are a family. I think we need to think more in those terms, instead of THEM vs. US.  But, look at the big action adventures that are on the scene right now… BATMAN vs. SUPERMAN (two iconic superheroes forced to battle each other) or what about the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA – CIVIL WAR – same premise… all the good guys go to war over opposing views…and  ALL THE GOOD GUYS FIGHTING each other.  I’m sorry, that just puts a bad message into the atmosphere. It sets the intention that good story telling means that we have to have the good guys battling each other because they have opposing views.  So, why wouldn’t we see people fighting over personal rights and wanting to create a civil war over civil liberties?

This is why I don’t like to watch the news. It’s sad & negative. I choose to apply the same rule to when I appear on TV/Radio shows or any media appearances I make. I don’t watch or read anything; I just wait to see how people react to it. I DON’T let it define me by any means, but it acts like an energetic weather gauge to see which way the winds are blowing in our society. Lately, I don’t like the way the winds are blowing… it feels like it’s blowing backwards, and we are nothing if we don’t learn from our history.

It seems that TV has forced us all to become immune to real life due to all the reality shows out there.  For the last decade, we watch voyeuristically as “life” happens to and for people. People seem to be applying that lens to the real REAL life as well.

Have you ever felt like you are watching the world around you like it truly is a reality show, froth with villains, and heroes? I like to look at life through this energetic lens to see what people respond to, what they resonate with, and social media is that microcosm that gives information freely. For me, it’s usually how badly people want to learn, evolve, grow or tell me how much they think I suck. Trust me, whether it be my work, my choices, my shirt, my face, my weight, my staff… everyone has an opinion. Most of the time, I laugh at how people think its ok to say certain things, out loud, where other humans can hear them. Things that if you heard them, with your own ears, you would totally say, “UM… you might want to keep that thought INSIDE your brain!” but folks have no filters.

I have lived the last 31 years under a public microscope because of my beliefs & abilities. I have been maligned, attacked verbally & physically… and had my life threatened a number of times. NO JOKE!  All of this as an individual is scary – add in family and it could be paralyzing. I emphasize the phrase “could be” here because that is If I was to solely live my life by the fear, bigotry, paranoia, or fundamental beliefs others have in “their” process of defining how they “get” or “don’t get” what I do.

Here’s a life lesson I learned and teach to my kids- What people don’t understand they attack.

Last year, in Pasadena, I was blessed with feeling relevant as I had protesters at my event. Not one or two… but a full on production, with neon signs, and hurtful slogans, attacking my beliefs, my process, calling the people walking into the room “stupid” for being duped & so on.  During the event, I only wished that someone would have been open minded enough to actually “attend” and listen, watch, not attack but “think” about the possibilities that maybe, just maybe, there is something after we physically die. I spoke to the protestors & said if they were to look at some of the research done by folks like Dr. Gary Schwartz (THE AFTERLIFE EXPERIMENTS) they would then be able to form a question in their mind of validity.

If everyone was one color, there would be no rainbow. You know, that age old adage that other people are allowed to have different views. It is what makes us human, oh yeah, and AMERICANS.

At the end of the event, a sweet, quiet, woman came up for a meet & greet photo. She thanked me for personally inviting her, which confused me. Granted, I just got done doing readings for 2 hours & that makes me a tad slow on the uptake, but I don’t invite people to events very often.

I asked her what she meant.  She told me she was one of the protesters from outside.  I was THRILLED that she came in like I had just met my TV idol.  I was thrilled that she sat through the event and watched people get read.  No longer would she be able to apply the philosophy she had before the event, as she now watched & experienced it first hand. IN that moment I imagined her going back to her community of closed-minded cynics, reporting back on the accuracy, validations, my intentions, etc.

Even though she saw my excitement – she still had an empty look on her face & more importantly in her heart.

Still determined, I invited her to be one of the guests on my show EVOLVE – to discuss coming in as a cynic & talk about her perspective after sitting at a 2 hour event. She declined.  When I asked why, she said “I am not trained enough in being a skeptic. It would be better for me to leave that to someone more advanced than me!”  Yes! You read that correctly.  She was not trained enough!

Trained in thought. Trained in beliefs that someone else is giving you. Surrendering your ability to think on your own. Casting free will aside & NOT trusting your own thoughts, feelings, etc.  When she said she wanted to leave that to those more trained…That statement was spine chilling.

That is a mindset that can be trained to do and say anything.

This post is not about psychics or skeptics.  It is about belief, freedom of belief to live your life without attack. The herd mentality on some level can be quite dangerous… terrorism is based on this foundational tenet & without adding a voice to alert people to what is happening… lives can be affected without question.

But terrorism isn’t just planes flying into a building, or bombs exploding outside airports. Terrorism is when someone does something based on their beliefs & forces the outcome to affect all those around them in a negative way. It’s clear cut when it’s this example. It’s also clear-cut when it’s “over there” and not “here” on US soil.

But now I pose this question. What if it is a LAW that is passed like the one the governor of North Carolina passed?  I mean, it’s a law. Laws are instated to protect us and protect our rights.  When a bomb goes off in an airport, the impact point hits the target of those who are at ground zero, but the impact ripples out far, and the casualties and injuries add up.

This post is not to cause written debate. More, I want it to just make you think. If you think, “YES! I agree with the law” than I support you in your belief… as long as you understand the ripple effect the passing of this law has had, and why over 100 businesses are boycotting the state.

I am really the least political person & I have my opinions about all candidates from an energetic and psychic standpoint, & truly believe that everyone is passionate about doing what’s best *(in their opinions, perspective, business goals, & beliefs)

When I started reading about why over 120 companies pulled out of North Carolina, I thought initially, “Oh…. That’s bold!” But I didn’t take it any further.  I was planning a series of events as well in the area, but I didn’t honestly think, “I should pull out too!”  – As it was happening in my “over there” mentality.

Alex, in my office emailed me and asked me if I thought it was a good idea to continue to plan events in North Carolina in light of what was happening, & it was in his tone that he got me to pay attention. It’s not over there… its RIGHT HERE.

So, I started researching online the players, the law, and the implications.  I just needed someone to point out, “Hey… you might want to look at this!”

That’s my goal here with this post ONLY!  I want you to objectively take a look, & maybe you too will see what in the medical ethics world is considered, “The Slippery Slope!”

I know the planets above us retrograde and with that comes reflection in our lives in the areas it is taking place.  I defer to the professional astrologers like MAGGIE KERR @universalmaggie, CHRISTOPHER WITECKI @cwitecki, & SANDY ANASTASI@sandyanastasi to better explain here what seems to be the HERD mentality that is quietly trying to retrograde the consciousness and advances the spirit of humanity has had.

The thing that I get concerned about is the absurdity of association the law implies regarding trans-gender.  Transgender need to use the facilities like everyone else, but this law and those shouting the need for it, are kind of saying that all transgender people are molesters.  It’s a hugely Christian fundamentalist voice that’s pushing this, and I would think that they would have more issue with the Catholic Church where millions of dollars have ACTUALLY been paid out to those who ACTUALLY were sexually abused and molested.  What WOULD JESUS say?

Well, that’s kind of the problem. Everyone seems to be a medium for Jesus. He has more people speaking in his name and it all sounds like a bad game of telephone.

By the way, I love Jesus. And I have a great faith. And my kids do as well.  So, lets address that issue head on.  One of the proponents for this law was concerned about his daughter going into a public restroom and being accosted. How do I feel about kids in bathrooms? Well, my kids are not allowed in public bathrooms without an adult.  Because I was actually once approached by a security guard and propositioned as a child, in a not cool way in a Mays Department Store in Queens. So, I don’t think it matters if the bathrooms are “gender” appropriate.

Pedophilia, doesn’t require someone to be transgender & the ignorance that someone born into the wrong body is automatically going to sexually molest someone seems absurd & can set back our society and the safety of many in our collective families.

I am BY FAR no expert on the transgender community, and quite honestly, the concept makes me feel VERY uncomfortable.  I can’t imagine being locked up in your own life, and as uncomfortable as it makes me, I am HAPPY and RELIEVED that lives will be saved as a result of what many are calling the LGBT MEDIA MISSION to apparently TURN the world, what? Gay? or into their agenda? Really? I know a lot of people who are gay, bi-sexual, (no real transgender people yet) but I haven’t been asked to pay membership dues, and certainly no woman dressed as a man has attacked me by the urinal… and I met Ellen a few times… no toaster oven was given to me. (In reference to her sitcom for those that are like WHAT???? J )

But, if we are talking about bathroom issues, I don’t know about you, but I do find that to be private & personal.  I don’t like the concept of shared bathrooms, but that is for me.  If a woman is really a man on the inside, as long as that person is following the skip a urinal rule, so be it. And if we have to decide something, turn the family bathroom in public into one that will protect going #1s & #2s for all.

MY point here, is simple. This law seems like it is about gender specific bathrooms. But is it? How do you enforce it? When I’m at the airport in Charlotte, do I need to show my passport and PENIS to get into the restroom?  Ridiculous to even consider that this was even passed! The sexual harassment issues that it could actually cause the state are enormous, and not thinking that there is a deeper agenda happening here, based on how some politicians walked out and made statements against it would be no different. So, I’m saying something. Take a good look at the bill…HB 2 the Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act also prohibits a locality from setting a minimum wage standard for private employers, and it limits how citizens can file claims of discrimination based on factors like race, religion, nationality, biological sex, and more. So while the LGBT community was the clear political target, everybody lost rights.

I’m sure some of you God-loving Bible thumping folks will be outraged, but you would also be thinking I am Satan’s spawn for my work anyway… sorry this came across your feed… feel free to say a few prayers for all of our souls and have a great day…. Or Namaste as I like to say it all spiritual-like!

But for me… I have to write this. I have to take a stand and use my voice, and not veil my position.  I AM for people being who they are without judgment.  I am NOT for people being oppressed or suppressed.  I support the skeptics who attack me, as I understand their positions. I don’t agree (obviously) but I don’t attack back. I respect.  All around the planet, people are suppressed, held down, blown up, living in fear of terrorism. It’s in our news every day… but terrorism isn’t just bombs at airports…. It’s ignorance, hate, intolerance deep inside an individual and when directed can affect many peoples lives in an indelible manner.  Laws being passed are to protect… but some can hurt…

In a world where we have come so far, and people can love who they want freely, it’s created an environment where young people can grow and evolve and live as who they are. Grow who they feel they need to be. But apparently, we have a long way to go.  When I learned about the holocaust as a child through the lens of the movie THE SOUND OF MUSIC, & my mom explained to me the realities & impact of how that movement began, slowly, creeping up into society, with fear, anger & hate as the wave that so many people got consumed by, all I wanted to know was “Why did everyone let that happen?” I’m asking that same question again…

Let’s not follow the herd of fear, anger, bigotry, racism… as John Lennon said, “IMAGINE!”

And here… I would like to take the opportunity to announce my excitement and support for my own cousin, Katrina @N0toriousKAT and her fiancé Michelle in their upcoming wedding. To think that not adding my voice, and try to add tolerance and respect to what I KNOW for a fact they will not be given on SO many levels… would make me feel uncomfortable – on the inside.

By the way, if you want to attack me here with your hate and bias…. I’m just gonna delete you…
