What does it mean?

  • Mars is the male planet, he is action and can be aggressive, he can be rash and selfish, but also work in heroic ways to help us move forward, speak up for ourselves and others and pushes us to experience new frontiers. He is the ruler of Aries and corresponds to the head, the blood and the muscles.
  • Taurus likes to move a bit slower than action loving Mars may like. Taurus is also quite a luxury loving type of gal and she enjoys her comforts… Ruled by Venus, Taurus enjoys a sensual nature and needs both emotional and physical security.
  • We can be very determined now, so get those things done you have been putting off.. Time to put the shoulder to the wheel.
  • Some of us may use our determination in a rather stubborn way, this could be a good or a bad thing, so take care when, where and with whom you apply this.
  • If you are a bargain hunter, get yourself out there, you could be a huge bargain magnet right now.
  • Fabulous time to sort out the closets and get ourselves organized for the nicer weather…And if you are into setting up a yard sale you can start your pile now… :)
  • It’s a good time to sit down and look over our finances and to set up a workable budget
  • Our finances may be high on the agenda now
  • This astrological “event” will affect everyone, but will have more of an effect on the following.
    • Sun in Mars:
    • Sun in Taurus

The Moon and Astrology: How it affects our daily life… Transiting Moon in Virgo March 2015

The Moon and Astrology

&

HOW IT AFFECTS OUR DAILY LIVES…

In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. :)

The Moon Void-off-Course:

There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon…

Good for Void-Off-Course Moon:

These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

  • Cancer
  • Taurus
  • Sagittarius
  • Pisces…

Opportunity Periods  (thanks to astrologer Jim Shawvan):

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

Thanks to Jim Shawvan present day astrologer, William Lilly 17th century astrologer and Llewellyn’s Daily Planetary Guide for opportunity periods.

Present Moon Sign/Phase/House:

  • Moon Sign: Virgo 2:12 pm (ET) 11:12 pm (PT)
  • Moon Phase:2nd
  • Void-off-Course: April 2 @ 5:01 am (ET): 2:01 (PT). Until April 3 @ 3:07 am (ET): 12:07 am (PT): Virgo Moon v/c is not one of the 4 “good signs” Try not to make any important decisions or commitments now. Rest if you are feeling tired or a cold coming on.
  • House(s): 11 & 12: 11th house of friendship and humanitarian issues: 12th house of the unknown, spiritual and institutions.
  • Opportunity Period: April 1 @ 9:53 pm (ET)6:53 pm (PT) to void off course on the 2nd: Get those paint brushes, pencils, pens and musical instruments out… it can be a creative period for you guys… :)

What does it all mean?

  • Virgo is all about the details, so be prepared to see to them or at least have someone else see to them for you, you will feel better :)
  • Try not to worry about things you have no control over, especially things that might not ever happen… Because Virgo “see’s” all the details others miss, it’s hard for her not to worry…
  • It’s good to keep busy during a Virgo moon, make lists, tidy, organize, plan, find solutions to problems… a lot can get done now
  • Virgo can be more critical than the rest of the zodiac, but only because she so need things to be “correct” or “perfect”. Try to give yourself and other’s a break over the next couple of days. If you are an employer, be prepared that tasks may not get completed exactly they way you had expected.
  • The moon in the 11th house will see focus on community events, team work and group play.. sometimes we can make new friends when the moon is in this house.
  • The moon in the 12th house may have us in dream land if we let it… we may also be busy with family and friends in institution facilities such as hospitals, schools and correctional facilities.
  • This moon sign will have more of an effect on those who have the following in their charts. And those who have a strong Aquarius or Pisces placement in their charts..
  • Moon in Virgo
  • Sun in Virgo
  • Venus in Virgo
  • Moon in 6th house
  • Moon in 11th house
  • Moon in 12th house.
  • Any aspects to the Moon or Mercury.

  • Mercury is the planet of communications and technology, he is what makes us think.

What does it all mean?

  • The Leo Moon Loves Drama, so be warned…
  • The Leo Moon loves to noticed and recognized, so be prepared to “pump up” your loved ones and if you happened to have a Leo influence in yourself, be aware of how you may be going about getting recognized or appreciated… If you play your cards right this could be a positive time when you get to be where you need to be.
  • Try not to be overly “vain” and be prepared for drama at any-time from any direction
  • Try not to over react and if it’s not you doing the over reacting, try not to get caught up in the drama, or to encourage the over reactor
  • It’s a good time to check out the local talent, take in a down town show, get starry-eyed with your lover, or perhaps look for a new one, as romance is high on the priority ladder during this time.
  • Might prove positive for hair cuts, make overs.
  • The moon in the 10th house may make us more aware of our work, vocation or passion, be prepared to put your back into it, however, keep any drama or bossiness to a minimum if you want to get noticed in the work place in a positive way.
  • In the 11th house:  This is the house of friendly behaviors and team work. It could be a good time to get some group activities up and running, or perhaps it’s an opportune time for some of us to get involved with a team sport. Again.. be aware of Leo’s desire to be noticed, work well with your team mates and you will get the positive recognition you may be looking for.
  • This moon period will affect everyone, but more so those who have the following in their charts: And those who have a strong Capricorn or Aquarius placement in their charts.

    • Moon in the 10th house:

    • Moon in Capricorn
    • Moon in Aquarius.
