Let out your inner drummer! We start with a meditation and then let the drumming take us on an energizing, music making journey which is never the same twice.  We embrace the natural flow of free form drumming. There’s no right or wrong or pressure to perform. Just let go & drum. Djembes, Native frame drums and rhythms instruments are welcomed. Some extra drums are available. Please reserve.

Recreational Djembe Drumming Classes

This is a ten-week introductory course designed for beginners on the West African djembe.
Adults will learn basic technique, handing and some simple rhythms. Explore the fun of improvised drumming in a group. No previous experience necessary.

Classes start May 7 2014
Time: 7:30 to 8:30 pm
Location: Ezra Anne’s Bed and Breakfast 239 Wellington St.Whitby
Cost: $120:00 for a 10 week course
Drums are available to borrow for $10:00
