Date(s): Every Wednesday
What does it mean?: Every Wednesday Whitby this week will be posting a picture from its archives of people from years gone by. The Purpose: To find out if the folk in the photo’s are still around and hopefully to hear from them and find out where their life journey has taken them… And you never know, reunions could happen too, with long-lost friends and relatives catching up on time gone by. If the folks in the photo’s can be found MMGDRD would love to recreate the photo.
How does it work: Folk are asked to check out: www.durhamregion.com:www.facebook.com/newsdurham: Tweet @newsdurham hashtag #WBWDurham: Here you can see the photo’s and comment on them if you recognize the folk… The above photo is taken from the newspaper, so it’s not too clear, maybe try the website above to view it more clearly. :)

This month’s Full Moon appears on June 13 2014 in the sign of
Sagittarius.
copy right: KseniaTerenteva
Sagittarius is optimistic and has a marvellous ability to let go of things in order to move ahead. With the Moon in this sign it can be a great time to take in something new. Perhaps check out that workshop or seminar you have been thinking about… Take time to Laugh a lot, have fun, be spontaneous and spend lots of time outdoors….Because Jupiter rules Sagittarius it’s a good idea to be aware of our actions, we can over do things or become too “loud” as we get wrapped up in the enthusiasm of Sagittarius and the expansion of Jupiter… :)
When the moon is full or becoming full in the few days leading up to the full moon it is traditionally suggested this time is best used to finish up projects we have already begun… And while it is not the best time to begin new projects, relationships, jobs etc… it shouldn’t stop us from making plans for the future, just as long as we don’t try to implement them now…. For those of us who have no choice but to begin something new during a full moon, take heart, it if doesn’t work out, keep the lessons learned and apply them in the future…. :)
The Full Moon will go void off course this month (June 2014) shortly after becoming full in the sign of Sagittarius.
While the moon is void off course it is strongly suggested we not start projects or sign important documents or commit ourselves to people, events or places as we may have to retract our “promise” later, redo our projects or not finish them at all… or we may “regret” what we have signed at a later date… It is a good time to meditate, ponder and assess where we are .. And it’s a fabulous time to attend to routine tasks….
