We (Julie Ditta and friends) start with a meditation and then let the drumming takeus on a creative, energizing, music-making journey that is never the same twice. You don’t have to know how to drum to be part of this circle. We embrace the natural flow of free form drumming. There’s no right or wrong. No pressure to perform. Just let go and drum! Healers Paul and Jaylee Balchi coming to Whitby October 2012:

Rare Canadian (Whitby!) visit From International Healers Paul & Jaylee Balch!

Paul & Jaylee Balch are Spiritual Teachers from Australia who will be visiting the Ajax/Whitby area in October.  As part of their trip, they will be offering a 5-8 session “Self Mastery” workshop as well as some healings.   Initiated into the lineage of the Tibetan Master Lama from the mystery schools of Tibet, and the lineage of a Grand Master of Tao as well, their visit will be a rare opportunity to study under real life “gurus”.  While the workshop is open to anyone interested, its advanced nature will make it especially appropriate for practitioners interested in further developing their skill.  You can read more about their workshop here.

SPICY PUMPKIN HUMMUS

From: Donna Wiggers of Natural Wellness Solutions:

 

1 can (540 ml) chickpeas, rinsed and drained well: 2 garlic cloves, minced

 

¼ cup (60 ml) each lemon juice and water: 3 tbsp. (45 ml) tahini

 

½ cup (125 ml) canned unsweetened pure pumpkin: 1 tsp (5 ml) cumin

 

3/4 tsp (4 ml) salt: ¼ tsp (1 ml) cayenne or to taste

 

1/3 cup (80 ml) olive oil

 Preparations

Place chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, water and tahini in a food processor. Whirl until smooth. Add pumpkin and seasonings. Whirl. With motor running, drizzle in oil until blended. Taste and add more lemon juice or cayenne if needed.Serve with crackers or pita pieces. Makes 2 ½ cups (625 ml) hummus.

SHINY TIME –Readings, Tea Time & Discussion: Each month an interactive gathering to enjoy and explore a particular shiny topic will take place -such as crystals, energy healing, moon-cycles, sound healing, divination, astrology, positive affirmations…topics are endless! This is an evening to enjoy ‘connecting’ in a small group of like minded people. Mini readings (10 mins) are included, along with tea time and open discussion, where we can learn, share, sing, shine…! Most evenings will include a meditation, and often include take-home materials on selected topics.

We will open this new idea with an evening of new moon energies, healing goals and meditation, and the creation of positive affirmations. The readings offered will be Messages From The Wing’d Ones, read by Tracy George: November18th we will share an open a circle of exploring some sound and musical vibrations. A sound healing meditation will also be included. Discussion on healing benefits and experiences over tea and readings. Shipping costs have been estimated for Canada only, international and U.S. shipping will cost extra, of which the buyer will be notified before transaction is completed. We accept payment by credit card via pay pal, account deposit by pay pal, and cash.
