New Moon in Gemini May 28 & Venus Moves into Taurus: Mercury Moves into Cancer May 29 2014

SGC Admin:

This new moon sees additional factors as Venus moves into the sign of Taurus later in the evening., and Mercury moves into the sign of Cancer tomorrow (May 29 2014).

Venus is comfortable in Taurus as she rules this sign, and she may encourage some of us to spend more or indulge ourselves in luxury, be it food, wine or material possessions..

As Taurus rules the 2nd house relating to finances, they may be some conflicting thoughts/actions regarding our spending habits.

A happy balance between spending and saving is recommended at all times, but especially now. 

Mercury moves into the sign of Cancer on May 29 2014 in the early hours of the morning.

Mercury the planet of communication may “incite” the sensitive Cancer to biting remarks when she feels threatened, however, the remarks may also be cleverly disguised so the recipient isn’t quite sure if they heard right. It is suggested we take with our words and be aware of our feelings, making sure we aren’t over doing it before coming to conclusions. :)

The New Moon is about beginnings and starts … it’s the time to look forward and put new ideas and projects into motion. 

The Moon in Gemini is a fun and fickle moon, these next few days may have you feeling the need to write, email and communicate with others. Multi tasking is also likely, but watch that you don’t become too scatter brained as you attempt to do more than usual. Short trips to the city, or visits with old friends may be in order perhaps with a business idea in mind… Siblings may also be in focus. June 8 2013 New Moon in Gemini in the 4th quarter.

She will be void off course from 4:29 am June 9 2013 until 12:16 pm; where she will visit with the sign Cancer in the 1st quarter. She will go void off course again at 5:15 pm June 10 2013 until she enters Leo still in the 1st quarter on June 12 2013 at 12:58 am.

New Moon June 1: Full Moon June 15th

This months new moon occurs June 1st in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is all about communication and multi-tasking and with the moon in this position it is likely we will want to chat a bit more than usual and do more. We may find ourselves restless, perhaps not sleeping well or finding we are happy to get up early and see what the day brings. This proves to be a fabulous time for letter writing, emails, phone calls and short trips. Even if the short trip is a visit to your local store, it’s likely to be a productive one. The biggest challenge with this New moon will be in trying to keep your feet on the ground. ☺

June’s Full Moon falls on the 15th of the month, in the earthy sign of Capricorn. Practical, organized and businesslike the Capricorn full moon brings out our sense of duty, and can encourage the more pessimistic, cautious side of our personality to come to fore front.  Future goals may become more important making this a great time to act responsibly taking care of any business that needs taking care of. A good time to set down ground rules, limitations and guide  lines. The Challenge with the Capricorn Full Moon is a tendency to act more business like than human, perhaps unwittingly upsetting others without realizing the emotional scarring that may remain behind.
