In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. :) 

The Moon Void-off-Course: 

There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon… 

Good for Void-Off-Course Moon:

These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.

  • Sagittarius
  • Pisces…

There are other periods throughout the month that are known as Opportunity Periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.

  • We could be encouraged or directed towards taking risks or doing things we wouldn’t normally do, especially those of a group or team nature. 
  • Sex may be high on the agenda for some of us… so if you don’t want to help the world population grow right now use caution… :) 
  • Some of us may be highly creative right now, while others get connected to their psychic side… 
  • Secrets may be told now… we can be enticed to open up to others about our deepest feelings/fantasy’s… 
  • Our focus may be on our finances, mergers and investments, indicating this may be a good time for some of us to make adjustments to this area, be sure you know what you are doing though before signing on the dotted line.

Date: October 23 2014: 

 

  • Scorpio is one of the most intense signs in the zodiac, and the moon relates to our feelings/moods/emotions.. indicating this new moon could prove to be one of intense emotions. 
  • An eclipse is an important event in astrology as it can strengthen the traits of either the moon or sun, this can be positive or negative. The natal effect of a lunar or solar eclipse can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. 
  • This month’s Solar eclipse is a partial eclipse, meaning only a part of the sun will be eclipsed. It is likely that the effects of this eclipse will be lessened, but should still be considered. 
  • With the New Moon in Scorpio  …it can be easier to become or be intimate with another… We may feel more passionate, be drawn to mystery and suspense or find we are involved in research of some kind. We may also “see” or feel slights from others that aren’t really there, as we can emotionally sensitive now…  Remember with the partial eclipse in effect what ever is put into action now may have repercussions at a later date. 
  • This months full moon will have more of an influence on those who have the following in their charts… Moon in Scorpio, Moon in 5th house, Sun in Scorpio, Transits/Aspects to the moon. 
  • Even though it’s a new moon, she isn’t quite ready yet, and she is still sitting in the 4th quarter until the 24th. Mercury is also still retrograde until the 25th. Wait until the 25th before beginning any new projects or commitments.

Full Moon in Virgo March 16 2014:

Traditionally it is said that as the moon grows into her fullest form, it is the best time for us to finish up projects… It’s not the best time to begin a project as you may be presented with more challenges than usual indicting that project may get put on the shelf for a while. Our confidence may also be “shaken” as we try our hardest to get something new off of the ground only to find delays surfacing we hadn’t anticipated.

When the full moon falls in the sign of Virgo, we are most likely to focus on fixing and fussing and our health…. we may be more apt to see the little details we would normally miss… which could make this an ideal time to view detailed written work or contracts.. although as the full moon represents the closing or ending of things it may not be the best time to sign on the dotted line regarding new projects or commitments…. Cleaning up the house, garage, office or car are excellent activities for this full moon… And if the weather cooperates this can also be a good time to get outside and go for a long walk or run… feeling healthy or taking care of our health can also be prompted with this full moon…

The Full Moon is the perfect time to finish up on projects and get those loose ends sorted out…

Traditionally the Full Moon is not  the best time to begin new projects… so don’t start a new exercise regime this weekend, chances are you won’t stick with it, wait for the New Moon to pop up again… :)

This month the moon becomes full while in the sign of Libra and remains in Libra until 2:14 pm when she becomes void off course until she settles into the sign of Scorpio on March 28 2013 at 2: 14 pm. 

While the full moon is in Libra we may feel more inclined to beautify our surroundings, perhaps making this a good time to put the finishing touches to renovations and decorating…. :) We may also feel like engaging in more harmonious relationships with our partners and loved ones, yet may also find our selves in the position of having to be the ones trying to balance the emotions within such relationships…
