The  full moon happen’s on August 20 2013 in the sign of  Aquarius.

Our lovely lady is happy to settle into the sign of Aquarius for the next few days…

The Full Moon is the perfect time to finish up on projects and get those loose ends sorted out… Traditionally the Full Moon is not  the best time to begin new projects… so don’t start a new exercise regime this weekend, chances are you won’t stick with it, wait for the New Moon to pop up again… :)

The moon will only be in Aquarius for a short time but never the less we may still feel the influence of Aquarius. We will no doubt also feel the influence of Pisces, when she visits this sign at 12:43 am August 21 after being void off course from 9:45 pm August 20.

The Full Moon in Aquarius:

You might feel like taking risks now or doing things out of the ordinary for you, perhaps you have plans to surprise someone? … be sure you don’t get too carried away though, it’s great to try something new, but not so great if there are negative consequences. And sometimes what you think may be just a “surprise” might turn out to be a shock to someone else… :) If you are being bombarded with fantastic ideas, writing them down might help lessen the “noise” And you may need your notes in the future…

The Full Moon in Pisces...

Take care, it might be all too easy to fall into the escapism trap, you know, over indulging in alcohol/drugs, burying your head in the sand, anything to get away from the harshness of life… Getting caught up or mixed up in emotional going’s on may also be easier to do now, as you may be emotionally vulnerable. On the spiritual side of things, it’s a great time for prayer and meditation, for listening to your intuition. If you are feeling extra charitable towards those less fortunate than yourself, do what you can, when you can, but stay within your budget, be that in time or money. If you have a Pisces personal planet (sun, moon) be sure to read the label of all medications before ingesting, you could be prone to negative reactions under this full moon.

August 6 2013 5:51 pm the new moon will spend a very brief time in Leo.

She will be void off course from 5:51 pm  August 6 2013 until 11:57 pm (8:57pm); where she will visit with the sign Virgo in the 1st quarter.

The New Moon is about beginnings and starts … it’s the time to look forward and put new ideas and projects into motion. For August’s new moon, half an hour before she becomes new and half an hour after she has become new is an excellent time to start something important: 

New moon in the 4th quarter. A good time to “draw back” to reflect on past events and what has been (or has not been) accomplished. Time to clear the slate and plan for the New Moon stage.

August’s New Moon will carry the Leo and Virgo influences: 

New Moon in Leo: Leo loves drama, after all he is ruled by the Sun, without which we could not exist, it’s no wonder those with a Leo influence can sometimes get carried away. :) It’s a good time to start creative projects, and may even prove helpful if auditioning for parts in a play, movie or band. But watch out for the innocence of the new moon combined with the “showiness” and innate pride of the Lion… Remember your p’s and q’s, and that we can’t all be noticed for our talents all of the time… :) have fun, be creative, spend time around animals and children and who knows what one can achieve under this new moon… :) 

New moon in Virgo: Virgo is all about detail, which can sometimes incite worry where it’s not needed. If you are beginning a new project, or planning for the future, don’t be too hard on yourself it everything doesn’t seem to be perfect… You will see the flaws that need fixing, but don’t go crazy, sometimes mistakes are necessary :) If you have been wanting to get in shape, or step up your work out routine now is a good time to start, it’s also a good time to begin a diet as our minds wonder to our health and hygiene… Cleaning out that closet or the car may also prove to be fabulous therapy…

Moon in the 4th House: You may find spending some time alone in retrospect helpful if contemplating  next phase of your life, but don’t stay there too long… :) Focus may be on the home and private life now.

July 8 2013 New Moon in Cancer in the 4th quarter.

She will be void off course from 7:44 pm July 8 2013 until 6:48 am July 9; where she will visit with the sign Leo in the 1st quarter.

New moon in Cancer: Time to tend to the domestic front. The moon rules the sign of Cancer and she is all about home and hearth here. A time to nurture and take care of our loved ones, cook and bbq and tidy the home front…

The Capricorn moon is organized and practical it’s all about business for the Caps…:)

Duty calls and it will be attended to, but don’t get too caught up in all the “chores” remember to relax a bit too. Looking at challenges in a pessimistic way will not help you to come up with the solutions that you seek.

If legal issues have to be dealt with now, especially those relating to business matters or family members your logic is ready to assist. Listen to advice given, ask questions and use logic (and compassion if it’s a family matter) to help you make the right decision.

Use this time to finish sorting the closet (or any organizing project) that was started during the new moon, put the finishing touches in place for plans already made, tidy up the files and get rid of useless paperwork.

Be aware of being too business like in your dealings with family, friends and loved ones, even in your place of business you may need to remind yourself you are dealing with people as well as numbers… :)
