*** Update 04/29/2014 from family member***
Back at the hospital. Starting to feel kind of at home here. . Unfortunately Bryce has a lung infection, so he will remain sedated for now. We really appreciate everyone’s prayers and well wishes. This is going to be a very long recovery, and we don’t yet know how much damage has been done.
Update 05/02/2014: from family member
So I just got off the phone with the hospital and was told Bryce Wilson is fully off the sedation and has had his eyes open, as well he is obeying nurses command when they ask him to thumbs up or move something, he’s still not fully conscious but it will take some time just glad to hear things are lookin up!
05/02/2014 late afternoon: from family member
Just saw Bryce. He’s responding to requests from the nurses and most tubes are removed. . He is able to nod when asked if he’s in pain. . He’s still not fully “awake”, as he is still on pain meds. No breathing tube is huge. So happy to see forward progress.
05/09/2014 Morning update from family member
My poor nephew. He’s fighting so hard, and now we’ve learned he has a blood clot in his lung as well as his brain. . Love you Bryce. Keep fighting buddy.

Brad Baker a young man and Oshawa Local is fighting the fight against Cancer.
Over the last few months Brad has undergone surgery and treatments, and he has been holding his own… But it’s a tough battle and he needs all the help he can get…. Brad is about to begin a new type of treatment, but still it remains questionable as to whether or not it will help him in the long run…
In the spirit of light and love, we ask healers and anyone else who wants to send out good vibes to do so as often and when ever they can over the next little while… Light that extra candle for Brad as you meditate or pray and let us have faith that what needs to be done will be done…
May we also offer up strength and light to Brad’s parents and family members who have been fighting this fight right along side him all the way…
Peace and Gratitude to all who participate even for a moment…. 🙂
Over the past week, our (personal) family has lost two of its members…. When we lose a family member our first instinct is to be with the other family members, to be a comfort and or be of practical help, what ever is needed. But when there is a distance involved, (as in our case) it is not always possible to be present at the Service…As part of our healing journey, we would like to share our dedication for our loved ones with you, as we believe the best way to honor a loved one is to remember them by sharing with others.
We would also like to take this opportunity to send prayers and healing to all those who may be sad, facing difficulties or grieving the loss of a loved one during this time. Time can help us to heal, we just have to allow ourselves to grieve, be patient and let the love in…
Christmas time is a very difficult time to lose a loved one, it can be a lonely and dark time for some… Take care in your daily dealings with others if you can, if you come across someone who is less than Christmassy, don’t be too quick to judge…
Today, was the service for our first family member who passed… we were all there in thought and spirit and we are honored to help keep Jenny’s memory alive

This past week or so Brad has lost 10 pounds, weight he cannot afford to lose, yet it is increasingly difficult for him to eat… so much so that next Wednesday he will under yet another procedure to place a feeding tube within to help him keep up his strength.
First we would like to thank each and every one of you who has been praying and sending healing thoughts out for Brad… And we ask that you continue to do so every chance you get… Lets do what we can to help this family through this very difficult time, especially as Christmas approach’s… 🙂
