Julie and friends start with a meditation and then let the drumming take them on an energizing, music making journey which is never the same twice. 

There’s no right or wrong or pressure to perform. Just let go and drum.

Djembes, Native frame drums and rhythms instruments are welcome.

Some extra drums are available. Please reserve.

The Psychic Cottage Centre will be once again welcoming Monique who will grace us with her talents doing Individual Spirit Guide Portrait Readings.

These readings are about 45 minutes in length and you will receive your wonderful portrait along with a reading on cd.

  • When: Sunday April 7, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT

Recreational Djembe Drumming Classes: Classes “start April 4”

Recreational Djembe Drumming Classes

This is a ten-week introductory course designed for beginners on the West African djembe.
Adults will learn basic technique, handing and some simple rhythms. Explore the fun of improvised drumming in a group. No previous experience necessary.

Classes start April  4 2013
However the start date and day of the week is flexible – please let Julie Know what works for you… :) 
Time: 7:30 to 8:30 pm
Location: Whitby
Cost: $120:00 for a 10 week course
Drums are available to borrow for $10:00
