Bethesda House women’s shelter annual dinner auction May 2013

SGC Admin: Thank heaven’s there are places for abused women and thier children to go to be safe and cared for such as The Bethesda House women’s shelter.

But they could use some help in raising funds to keep the place functioning well…

Check out this year’s event to help raise the necessary funds… This year they need $72,000 to meet basic operating costs…

We start with a meditation and then let the drumming take us on an energizing, music making journey which is never the same twice.  We embrace the natural flow of free form drumming. There’s no right or wrong or pressure to perform. Just let go & drum. Djembes, Native frame drums and rhythms instruments are welcomed. Some extra drums are available. Please reserve.

Whitby residents can enjoy a day of walking, running or strolling the Whitby waterfront to raise money for Canadian Lyme disease patients.
