Astrological Event: transiting Mars visits with the sign of Aries
Date: February 19 2015 to April 1 2015
Time: 7:11 pm (ET) 4:11 pm (PT)
What does it mean?
Mars is the male planet, he is action and can be aggressive, he can be rash and selfish, but also work in heroic ways to help us move forward, speak up for ourselves and others and pushes us to experience new frontiers. He is the ruler of Aries and corresponds to the head, the blood and the muscles.
Aries is the first zodiac sign, and he can be like a child in his rush to explore.. he can be a warrior ready to fight for those who cannot… or he can be selfish and out for himself…he can be a hero or he can hurt by being insensitive to the needs of others. Aries is ruled by Mars
Transiting Mars is comfortable in Aries, as this is the sign he rules. It can also mean he can be more assertive than he should.
Our energy level can be better when Mars is visiting here, so get those jobs done.
We could feel excited about new projects or new horizons, but hold your horses before committing yourself, it might feel great now, but may not be what we want next week.
Be careful the projects you start now, if you don’t want them finished in a hurry then go ahead, finishing up isn’t as fun as starting for Aries/Mars.
Watch out for open cupboards, and accidents to the head.
Don’t drive to fast, and watch for the tendency to get into accident prone situations.
Some of us may experience more headaches than usual
In the 6th house: Our health and physical well-being could be in focus now, and we should have the energy we need to do the research and even start a new physical exercise routine, so go ahead and play.
This astrological “event” will affect everyone, but will have more of an effect on the following.
In astrology, the moon is connected to our emotions and reactions… how we are feeling on a given day may well be influenced by the sign that is visiting the moon… Each sign stays with the moon for up to 2.5 days…. :)
The Moon Void-off-Course:
There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon…
Good for Void-Off-Course Moon:
These v/c signs may prove to be quite productive times.
Cancer
Taurus
Sagittarius
Pisces…
Opportunity Periods (thanks to astrologer Jim Shawvan):
There are other periods throughout the month that are known as opportunity periods, when it can prove to be a positive time for most people, however if you have challenging aspects happening within your own chart you may not be able to make use of opportunity periods.
Thanks to Jim Shawvan present day astrologer, William Lilly 17th century astrologer and Llewellyn’s Daily Planetary Guide for opportunity periods.
Moon Sign: Pisces at approx 6:47 pm (ET) 3:47 (PT)
Moon Phase: 4th
Void-off-Course: February 19 6:02 pm (ET) 3:02 pm (PT) to February 20 6:13 pm (ET) 3:13 pm (PT) Pisces is a fortunate sign for the Void off Course moon.
House(s): 5th & 6th. 5th house of entertainment, creativity, children and pets. 6th house of health, service and detail.
Opportunity Period: February 18 6:15 pm (ET) 3:15 pm (PT) to 7:15 pm (ET) 4:15 pm (PT): Good For: Starting something new connected to a project/subject begun before January 17.
**Note**The New Moon is on February 18, while she is still in the sign of Aquarius , she moves into the sign of Pisces by the end of the day. The influence of Pisces will also color the New Moon. The New Moon is a good time to begin something, and while the moon is said to be new on February 18, she is still in the 4th quarter, she moves into the 1st quarter on February 19, making this date a better one to put new plans into action.
What does it all mean?
Pisces is compassionate and caring but can be taken for granted
Sometimes Pisces isn’t about helping others but helping oneself.
We can be more psychic during a Pisces moon, but we can also be easily deceived, so be sure of the “messages” received during this time.
Be careful if something sounds too good to be true, look for the hidden agenda
We can be susceptible to taking in stray animals and stray people now.
Our hearts can be broken or melted during this time depending on who is telling us what and what may be revealed now.
We can feel more spiritual with a Pisces moon, indicating this could be a good time to join a church or spiritual group
Keep an open mind when delving into new spiritual situations, ask questions and don’t believe everything you hear or see.
We can be wistful, impressionable, nostalgic and dreamy now.
In the 5th house: Creative juices are flowing, get the paint brushes out and create your master piece. A good time to get out and enjoy some music or dancing. We can get “connected” to our pets now. Depending on how you feel about little people (children) this could be a fun few days or a tiring few days.
In the 6th house: Our well-being may be on our mind and our health may be in focus. We could be tempted to do more for less or find we are in a position to be of service to someone. Some of us can see all the small details now, don’t get overwhelmed, just do what’s needed.
The moon in Pisces will have more effect on those who have the following in their charts:

Pisces folk are compassionate and can have a habit of rescuing strays, (people and animals)… Feeling everything around you, (emotionally) it can be exhausting for you to spend too much time among crowds :)
Spending time alone is good for you and should be encouraged as long as you don’t spend too much time in your “wonder land” … a place most Pisces’s know…. :)
You are encouraged to be aware of people who may take advantage of your kindness… use your strong psychic ability to sort the “wheat from the chaff”
Thanks for caring guys….
Happy Birthday and good wishes sent out to: Nicole, *mum* *mum*, Beverly, Maureen and Dave… and to all you Pisces out there… :)

Void-off-Course: This is a very miniscule v.o.c indicating its effects will be minimal if any. It occurs just before the moon changes signs on February 18 6:47 pm (ET) 3:47 pm (PT). Aquarius Moon v/c is not one of the 4 “good signs” Try not to make any important decisions or commitments now.
House(s): 4th & 5th: The 4th house relates to domestic and family: The 5th house relates to creativity/entertainment, pets and children
The New Moonis February 18 in Aquarius: Traditionally the new moon is the best time to begin something new, such as a project, new job or the beginnings of a new relationship. The date of the new moon doesn’t mean the moon is in the 1st phase, she may still be in the 4th phase. If possible it’s best to wait until she is in the 1st phase to begin anything new, planning can still be done while she sits in the 4th phase. The New Moon moves into the 1st phase on February 19 2015. The influence of the moon in Aquarius will be stronger on the 18 and 19 of February. The New Moon will move into the sign of Pisces shortly after, it will therefore have a dusting of the Pisces influence.
What does it all mean?
Aquarius is “different”, he is ahead of his time and capable of thinking and “seeing” things in a different way then the rest of us.
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the planet of shock and chaos.
We may feel may inclined towards kindness, especially on a “global” level or towards animals, the elderly and those worse off.
Getting along with our four-legged friends may be on the top of our list now.
The time may be right to understand/learn about new technology, such as a new phone, tablet or t.v. However keep in mind the “leader” of technology Mercury is Retrograde from Oct 4 to 25.
This moon period can bring out the rebel in us, prompting us to try new things and or meet new people.
Be careful not to break tradition just because one feels like being different or as some may see it, “difficult” Teenagers may feel the need to express themselves, so parents be for warned.
Personal freedom and individuality is very important now. Partner’s try not to restrict each other’s movements. Parent’s it might be a tight line you walk now. Employer’s give your “worker’s” a little “slack”.
Being organized might not be as easy now, so expect weird schedule’s and interrupted meetings…
Changes may be in the air…
Could be a good time for inventions… Perhaps keeping them to paper until after the 25 is advisable if the goal is for the invention to work.
