SGC Admin: The summer goes so quickly, perhaps because we find ourselves busier in the warmer months, lots of bbq’s vacations, long weekends… keeping the kids occupied… :) before we know it it’s back to school again..

For some students making the transition from grade school to high school can be intimidating, especially if the student is new to the area. Therefore being aware of the routine or what is expected from the student in high school can be a way of decreasing the stress this transition can cause… Keep in mind the teenage years are difficult enough to get through without adding anything out of the ordinary into the mix…

If you have a student entering into the high school “arena” or perhaps you know of someone who is doing so… The following information might be what is needed to decrease the stress.
