SGC Admin: We love our homes and our business space… but sometimes we would like to change or improve them.. It’s a lot of work for sure but the end result is usually worth it… :)

However, there are rules and regulations one needs to abide by when living within a residential town… and the first expense one needs to incur before doing any renovations is the purchase of the building permit…

The building permit allows you to make the changes you would like to your property while keeping within the regulations of the Town, by doing this you can avoid possible expensive “tear downs” in the future or challenges when attempting to sell your property.

The upcoming Public Open House will, hopefully answer some of the questions you may have regarding such renovations…
