Summer and Sunday Library Hours
  • The Central Library and Brooklin Branch will be closed Sundays, June 24 – September 2, inclusive.
  • Sunday hours resume on September 9. 
  • The Central Library will be closed at 5 p.m. on Fridays, July 6 – August 31, inclusive.
  • All library locations will be closed on Monday, July 2, Monday, August 6, and Monday, September 3.
  • You may search the Library’s catalogue and reserve library materials at http://whitby.bibliocommons.com/.
  • Use the “Digital Content” tab anytime at whitbylibrary.ca to download and stream music, download magazines, ebooks & eaudiobooks, and searchonline databases. And check out hoopla! Access music, movies, TV shows, comics, eBooks and eAudiobooks instantly with your library card.
