- Reason #1. The year 2014 is going to be awesome!
How could we possibly know that 2014 is going to be awesome? Well, we have used numerology to analyze the numbers and we love the potential!
According to Wikipedia, Numerology is the study of purported Devine, mystical or other special relationship between a number and some coinciding observed (or perceived) events. Modern numerology has roots as far back as 6th Century B.C. Greece and it takes a variety of aspects from many ancient cultures that we honour and respect today.
So, in the tradition of Tarot Arcana (otherwise recognized as the Tarot Card), the numbers of 2014 represent great opportunity for each and every single one of us…
2+0+1+4 = 7
According to Tarot Arcana the number 7 represents destiny. In this new year coming upon us, we each have the opportunity to choose, YES, it is completely within our own control… to choose to be the Master of our own Destiny or to be the victim. We have the power to live our lives on purpose or to just be carried along with the current of the times.
The number 7, being an odd number also represents change, specifically the “action” of change; as it moves each of us into the next moment.
Mastering our destiny combined with change moving us into the next moment suggests that 2014 will bring with it great opportunity should each of us choose to find and live our purpose.
At Tranquil Garden, we have decided to take action to move into this New Year with Purposefulness.

We are committed to making Holistic Self Care accessible; all while connecting you to other like-minded people in a supportive, learning inspired environment.

Yes, it is true… we are three years old. What an incredible three years it has been. We made it through the terrible twos and not without our challenges. Yet in the true fashion of the self-care evolution, we have made every effort to learn and grow with each obstacle. We have become stronger, smarter and even more focused.

Grand Re-opening? You heard it right. The next monumental moment for Tranquil Garden is to embrace our transition as we leave behind the terrible twos to celebrate becoming a toddler… and like most toddlers – we are on the move…
- Reason #3. We are moving… February 2014; and we are kicking it up “Karma” style
There is no question that 1053 Ritson Rd N is a beautiful 6200 square foot facility with unique amenities and it certainly has been an awesome “home” to us the past 3 years. Unfortunately, our time there has not so gently come to an end. It just does not have the basic requirements that a business that wants to grow and thrive requires… like ample parking, wheelchair accessibility, good signage and consistently regulated heat and air conditioning.
Although our new location, 850 King St. W unit #8, is not a “home” it does have many very exciting features including but not limited to over a hundred parking spots; 10 treatment rooms, 3 meeting spaces and 4 washrooms all on one level; it is located in an easy to find, well advertised location at the border of Oshawa and Whitby; and it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter – whoo hoo!
Our last day at 1053 Ritson Rd N will be Saturday February 1st and our first day at 850 King St W will be Wednesday February 5th. We are giving ourselves a few days to get acclimatized and then we are going to celebrate with a week of COMPLIMENTARY services and events from Monday February 10th to Saturday February 15th.
