Christmas is the season of giving, of forgiving and of being compassionate towards others, it is about peace and acceptance…. :) those who can give with good intentions do so, and those who can’t may accept with gratitude… There are many avenues to giving, here is another one… happening until December 8 2013…

- From: November 15 2013 to December 8 2013
- Donation: $5:00
- The Cause: Cornerstone Community Association, a 40 bed men’s shelter in Oshawa
- What Happens: Every $5:00 donation made by customers at select Durham Region Urban Barn stores means the store will donate a new fleece blanket to Cornerstone Community.
- Which Stores are in: Urban Barn Located at 560 Laval Dr. Oshawa: Urban Barn located at 340 Taunton Road East, Whitby.
