SGC Admin: A reminder that garbage/recycling pick up this week and next may be a day behind due to the recent Easter Holiday.

As of April 8 2013 Durham residents will be able to place those clear plastic containers into their blue bins for recycling.
Please note the containers MUST be food and beverage ones only.
Please wash out your containers before placing them in the blue box.
New Items being accepted are:
- Plastic bakery trays and cake domes
- Clear Clamshell Containers
- Deli trays and containers
- Clear Plastic fruit and vegetable containers/baskets
- Clear Egg cartons
- Clear cold drink cups and lids
Once recycled these items along with bottles are used to produce new products such as outdoor decking, carpeting, fleece jackets and t-shirts.
