Just a reminder that garbage and recycling pick up is likely to be a day behind next week…

On my waste pick up calendar both my green and blue bin pick up is moved a day… (Thursday to Friday)…

  • Monday Pick Up will be Tuesday,
  • Tuesday will be Wednesday,
  • Wednesday will be Thursday,
  • Thursday will be Friday and
  • Friday will be Saturday…

Durham Region road restrictions due to construction 2013

SGC Admin: It’s that time of year again, when the works department get out the shovels and asphalt to repair, replace and add to our roads and sidewalks. This post will be updated throughout the season, so please check back, when looking for this post just put Durham Region Road in the search bar on the right hand side and this post should pop up. :) 

Please remain as calm and considerate as possible when dealing with delays due to construction and be aware of work crews and pedestrians when traveling through construction zones… :)
