SGC Admin: On October 27 2014, Fairview lodge, a long-term care facility in Whitby suffered a destructive fire. The residents of the lodge were forced to leave their home and are now temporary located in other area’s until the Lodge can be habitable again.

The community came together for the residents of the Lodge, who call the lodge home, with donations of clothing, personal items and money.
The staff at the lodge, say a huge thank you to everyone, and would like to let the community know, they are no longer in need of donations…
Family members of residents who have been displaced are asked to call the lodge staff, should their loved ones be in need of items…
