Full Moon November 17 2013:

Our Lovely Lady becomes full on November 17 2013

The moon becomes full in the morning hours, at approximately 10:16 am. However, she will not be visiting with any zodiac sign until later in the evening around 7:07 pm when she slips in to chat with Gemini.

The Full Moon represents completion and therefore is traditionally thought of as the perfect time to wrap up loose ends and finish projects up.

The Moon in Gemini will focus on communications, word games, puzzles and riddles. :) We may feel more restless than usual which can relate to a feeling of boredom for some. We feel a bit more scattered under this influence and may translate into feeling overwhelmed for those who rely on structure and routine. It’s a great time for letter writing and emailing and getting those phone calls finally out of the way, finish up on those correspondences that have been cluttering up your desk of late, and get to those replies, especially the time sensitive ones. 

Take care not to over do it though, as we can be tempted to take on more than we can chew under this influence, we may also spend a little more than usual as we seem to want two of everything. We can be fickle, and find it difficult to make up our minds, prompting the action orientated folk of the zodiac to give up on projects and the bargain hunters/shop alcoholics  may end up buying more than they need. 

The Moon Void off Course: 

When the moon is void off course or VOD, she isn’t visiting with any of the Zodiac signs, and because the moon rules our emotions/reactions we may feel a little out of sorts with our feelings, perhaps we don’t know how we are feeling, or we may feel or react to a person/situation in a way that is out of character for us, simply because we aren’t sure what to be feeling and how to be reacting. It is therefore suggested that any important choices/decisions or actions not be made or attempted until the Moon has settled into a sign. The New moon arrives in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th quarter at 7:50 am. She then goes VOD from 11;23 pm to 3:14pm on Monday, November 4 2013.

The New moon is well, new.. she is being reborn so to speak and as such it has been traditionally believed that when the new moon arrives it’s the perfect time to start something… :) so get cracking folks… 

When the Moon is void off course leaving major decisions until she has settled into a sign is highly recommended, we sometimes cannot focus on our feelings at this time and may feel slightly “off kilter” where emotional situations are concerned. 

Because the New Moon takes a little time to be seen as new, (she spends a little time with the sun first as she moves from the 4th quarter to the 1st quarter) she can be in one sign for a little while then move on to another, or become void off course. She will exhibit some traits of the last sign she visited with, and depending upon how long she is void off course she may also exhibit some traits of the new sign she visits with. 

New Moon in Scorpio: Scorpio is intense, she feels everything, sometimes she gets a bit out of hand when it comes to negative feelings of jealousy. When the moon is new it is possibly a more positive time for Scorpio then when the moon is Full and may indicate a renewed sense of motivation and determination. The intensity of Scorpio can be put to good use with the New Moon as she can help us to focus better at the task at hand instead of getting distracted by nonsensical thing. As our Lady becomes full this month at 7:38 at the tail end of Aries, she will also become void off course until she enters into Taurus on October 19 at 3:27 am.

The Full Moon is the perfect time to finish up on projects and get those loose ends sorted out… Traditionally the Full Moon is not  the best time to begin new projects… so don’t start a new exercise regime this weekend, chances are you won’t stick with it, wait for the New Moon to pop up again… :)

The full moon will still carry with her the influence of an Aries moon, but it will be peppered with the influence of the Taurus moon.

The moon in Aries is bold, up for an adventure and not too happy to sit back and let things happen without putting in a word or two no matter who it might upset at the time. Boredom may take a hold regarding projects begun under the new moon and finishing them up now might not look like the most adventurous thing to be doing, but with some effort, encourage and support from others, it’s still possible to get them done. If change is required now, it’s not likely to go down too well, especially if its change brought about through something or someone beyond your control. October 4 2013 New Moon in Libra in 4th quarter. 

She will be void off course from 6:28 pm October 5 until October 6 at 4:33 am; where she will visit with the sign Scorpio in the 1st quarter. 

The New Moon is about beginnings and starts … it’s the time to look forward and put new ideas and projects into motion.

It’s not easy being a Libra, we see both sides of just about every situation. We truly do not like confrontation and because Venus is our ruler, we have a tough time with anything that may be considered “icky”. 

Making up our minds is sometimes exhausting and others can become impatient with us.
