There are times throughout the month when the moon isn’t fully immersed in any sign… this is when we say the moon is Void off Course… and when this occurs, we may feel “foggy” and “unfocused” … We may not be sure how we are truly feeling about a situation or a person…. Therefore it is not recommended that we make long-term commitments or important decision’s while the moon is Void off Course…. However there are 4 signs in the zodiac which may prove positive during the Void-off-Course moon…

  • Aquarius is “different”,  he is ahead of his time and capable of thinking and “seeing” things is a different way then the rest of us. 
  • Aquarius is ruled by Uranus,  the planet of  shock and chaos.
  • The New Moon in Aquarius: The new moon is a good time to begin new projects. We can distance ourselves emotionally now, so dealing in sensitive issues may be easier to handle. Those who are of an emotionally sensitive nature however, may not like being held at arm’s length. Team work and or family working together is the way to go for the next few days. We may be drawn to gadgets and technology. Any project begun now which deals with technology, or a new way of doing something is likely to go well during this new moon. 
  • We may feel may inclined towards kindness, especially on a “global” level or towards animals, the elderly and those worse off. 
  • Getting along with our four-legged friends may be on the top of our list now. 
  • The time may be right to understand/learn about new technology, such as a new phone, tablet or t.v. 
  • This moon period can bring out the rebel in us, prompting us to try new things and or meet new people. 
  • Be careful not to break tradition just because one feels like being different or as some may see it, “difficult” Teenagers may feel the need to express themselves, so parents be for warned. 
  • Personal freedom and individuality is very important now. Partner’s try not to restrict each other’s movements. Parent’s it might be a tight line you walk now. Employer’s give your “worker’s” a little “slack”. 
  • Being organized might not be as easy now, so expect weird schedule’s and interrupted meetings…
  • Our home and family members may feel extra important to us now. 
  • It may be possible to find solutions to old issues relating to the home. 
  • Changes may be in the air… 
  • Could be a good time for inventions…

  • Astrological “Event”: Mercury goes Retrograde 
  • Date(s) January 21 to February 11 2015: 
  • Time Line: He enters his storm January 17 2015 and will be back in his “storm” until February 19 2015: It’s best to keep all new projects on hold from ***January 17 until after February 19*** if possible. 

What does it all mean? 

  • Mercury is the planet of communications, he is also a messenger and likes to do two things at once. He rules Gemini and Virgo. 
  • Retrograde motion means that from the earth’s perspective it appears that the planet Mercury is going backwards. 
  • Our communications and organizational skills may not be up to par during this time. 
  • Messages can get misinterpreted or misplaced. 
  • We can miss appointments during this period, so check your date book frequently and place all scheduled appointments in your date book or phone in a place you will see them often. 
  • It’s not a good time to begin anything until after the 11th of February if it’s at all possible. Projects begun now are not likely to go as planned.
  • Be prepared to redo things. 
  • It’s the perfect time to review, redecorate, renew…. However, it’s advisable that we all check and double-check the fine print before signing on the dotted line.
