Chelsea, as this poster indicates has now been away from home for the past 4 months. She is extremely thin and it is likely she is in need of immediate medical attention.
It is not fully understood why Chelsea continues to roam, but it is likely she is a very confused animal and reuniting her with her family remains the only option. If you have been following the progress of this search, now turned rescue effort it is likely you are as amazed as I am at the amount of love everyone on Team Chelsea has for Chelsea.
It seems Chelsea has chosen her roaming area, which means she does not stay in one place at any given time. This makes the rescue of her more difficult as no one can ever be sure as to where Chelsea will choose to stay. The members of Team Chelsea have a set roster which includes both night and day “watchings”.
However no one can be in all of the Chelsea sighting area’s all the time, and this is where we come in. Those who live, work or visit within the target area are being asked to please, please keep an open eye for Chelsea, and if you see her to please call one of the numbers listed immediately. It ‘s a good idea to pop the numbers in your cell phone if you feel comfortable doing so, this way as soon as you sight Chelsea you can call it in. It is imperative that a member is contacted regarding the sighting ASAP, as mentioned previously Chelsea moves around and can be gone from the sighted location very quickly, time therefore is of the essence.
Team Chelsea is appreciative and very grateful for all the continued help.
Target Area is as Follows:
Pringle Creek
South of Taunton
North of Dundas
